Being reported here in Chicago that its a done deal, but that they need to wait until after the World Series to make a formal announcement. Lester will probably be a Cub, Shields has a shot, a trade for Hamels has a legit shot, hopefully some CF or even a C pops up to trade for...Sucks that FA kinda blows ths year, but the Cubs have the pieces to make significant trades or spend money without killing whatever else it is they're doing.
