Ray Rice

SI's Peter King says it's unlikely the NFL will be able to keep Ray Rice suspended.

Advice: In about two weeks, judge Barbara Jones is expected to rule that the NFL must reinstate Rice. He'll then be allowed to sign with any team as a free agent. However, King isn't hearing anything about interested teams and we'd be shocked if Rice found a taker. He was rapidly declining on the field and signing him would be a colossal PR hit.

honestly the guy paid more with his release, "ban" from the NFL and games lost then anyone that has been accused of domestic violence.  he's in the same boat as Vick.  what the guy did was heinous and reprehensible, but he did the time according to the NFL and should be given the opportunity to his job.

With Chris Johnson regressing and Powell unproven going into next season with Ivory/Rice/Powell thats a decent backfield.

We took a chance on Vick why not Rice?

Vick after prison was still young enough to be productive, compared to RBs who don't have as long of a shelf life.  Also, Vick DID have to go through the PR stuff with Philly, so much of that brouhaha had already died down by the time the Jets picked him up.

but New York isn't the place to rebuild his career and image.  Jacksonville could use a RB, thats a landing spot for him.  TB, CAR, ATL, TEN all could be spots.

Denard Robinson is for real. Their GM got them Bortles, Denard, Allen Robinson, Marquise Lee, Cecil Shorts... they'll be decent next year now that they can focus on building the defense.
