T0mShane
If you're not, it's great. NPR's Sarah Koenig goes back and investigates the murder conviction of Adnan Syed, who may or may not have killed his ex-girlfriend in 1999. The writing and presentation on it is terrific. There are eight episodes so far (about an hour each), and it shows you how frustrating and random criminal prosecution can be without necessarily demonizing law enforcement. Definitely worth checking out. http://serialpodcast.org/

Saw those. Unfortunate what happened to those dudes, especially when the real freak show suspect was so obvious.
AFJF
Watch, Paradise Lost 1, 2 & 3. Three amazing docs about the child murders committed, or maybe not, by the West Memphis 3. I donated a lot of money to their defense fund years ago after reading "Devil's Knot" and watching the docs. So glad those guys are out.
Bugg
I donated a lot of money to their defense fund years ago after reading "Devil's Knot" and watching the docs. So glad those guys are out. It sounds silly now, when you consider Ozzy Osbourne is now viewed as a crazy drunk uncle and Rob Halford is an aging golfer who is ...out. But in the late 1970s and 1980s the whole occult heavy metal thing was a big deal to a lot a silly people. And it was mostly crap and dumb marketing. It was mostly black t shirts and nonsense than anything really menacing.
