JetsFanInDenver
This is BS. Also fined following Sunday's win were linebacker Jason Babin ($16,537) for unnecessary roughness (a late hit on Ben Roethlisberger) and Michael Vick ($8,268) for unsportsmanlike conduct (flipping the ball at an opponent). I am waiting to find out how much Mitchell was fined for ?

#27TheDominator
I'd fine Vick myself for the way he handled the victory formation stunt. Personally, I think what he did might have been considered a fumble. He should have kneeled down and NEVER GIVE UP THE ******* BALL UNTIL YOU ARE HANDING IT TO A REF BLOWING A WHISTLE. The way that **** spits it up I would have him carrying a ******* ball around all day and fine him everytime someone gets it out of his hands. TiredJetsFan
You are on the right track. dbatesman
Rex has blown a timeout to scream at officials on more than one occasion. Not sure why fining him is supposed to be a deterrent.

#27TheDominator
I heard him yelling "**** you!" I thought it had to do with the wannabe Polamalu dive during the kneel down, not the officials.
Klecko73isGod
What's the proof he was cursing at the officials. Does it really make a difference? That's even weaker. JetsFanInDenver
That Babin shot was cheap. But Vick? This is just arbitary. What Mitchell did at the end was more of a detriment to player safety. How much did he get fined ?

Where as I agree about the player safety, the play was still alive when he jumped and NFL would never win that case.

So you mean to say if a JETS player did that he would get away scot free.

If someone gets hurt in that play, it changes everything. But he only put himself at risk with it.
