How many wins do you see on the remaining schedule?

I see four.  Vikes and Titans have rookie QB's which Rex tends to do well against.  We usually split w/ Miami and/or Buffalo so I'd be surprised if both of them sweep the Jets.  Three remaining games against those two teams, I say we win one of the three.  NE at home at a time they're likely to have the division wrapped up and we may see their back-ups.

6-10?

I can see us going 3 and 3 in last 6 games. Will not change the need to replace coach, GM and QB for this franchise. Doubt that will happen though

I think they win at least three...decided to put some money on it today.  Over/Under for total wins is 4.5.  I think they win 3 more.  We'll see.

We'll probably win just enough to miss out on an impact player at a need position at the top of the draft. Because Jets.

They absolutely will, that's why Idzik or whoever is in charge needs to pay whatever it costs to move up to  #1 and grab a QB.

Because of draft position, the Jets exist in a bizarro world where losses are wins and wins are losses.

I can see and am hopeful for 5 more "wins" this season

lol Guess I've been looking at it wrong all these years.  The Jets are actually one of the "winningest" franchises of all time.

Or just let Geno play all the remaining games.

They could, but I like the idea of seeing what the rest of the offense has to offer.  You put Geno out there and all the guys who will be here next year will get minimal reps due to constant three-and-outs.  I like the idea of seeing some sustained drives like we have with Vick in there and see what Aboushi looks like.  To see what the running game can do with enough at receivers that teams can't stack the box.  I want to see what those receivers look like as a group with an NFL caliber QB throwing them the ball.  They'll win some meaningless games, but they should get enough time on the field to do a more thorough evaluation of what they have to do elsewhere.  QB is a foregone conclusion, they need a new one.  Plenty of questions elsewhere that can be answered over the last six games IMO.

We lose to the Pats, split with Bills, and sweep Dullfins. End up with a 7-9 record assuming Geno doesn't play again this yr.

Sweep the Dolphins?  That would be sweet, but the Jets have a hard time doing that when they're clearly the better team.  I think  it's gonna' be tough to get one win against that defense.

We scored 7 points off 4 turnovers against the Steelers. We are still every bit as sh*tty as we were before that game. 3-13 here we come.

They don't turn it over as much and they sustain drives that keeps the ball away from the opposing offenses.  It also looks like they're going to play more deep safeties to stop giving up long pass plays which will help the weak CB's.  That doesn't mean you're wrong in saying they'll go 3-13, but I think Vick gives them a much better shot to win some games.

True, but with a 3 possession lead, Jets were in a time-kill mode. Barely passed in the 2nd half. 13-20 score suggests the game was very close. In fact, Jets had a 17 point lead going in to the 4th quarter. It wasn't even close.

Divison rivalry. I honestly don't see why we can't sweep them. Our offense isn't as bad under Vick. I think we put up 24+ points in both games and our D stops their offense.

It was one game. I didn't really see anything in that Pittsburgh game to make me believe we were any better than going into it. That was Pittsburgh's worst game of the season, and it took our best game of the season to barely beat them, and we still almost blew it and Rex still managed to act like a complete jackass in the midst of it all. Good teams have bad games and bad teams have good games. That's how all sports work. Bad teams beat good teams sometimes, it happens. We still suck.

This - and we miss out on the "elite" pick of the draft.  Vernon Gholston 2.0 baby!!!

have no fear there will be plenty of elite players left when we pick; we will all get our chance to curse and throw things at the TV when we pass on them all
