T0mShane
Being reported that it's against Rex's wishes, too. If this is the way it's going to be, they should Fire Rex now, because it's going to go full meltdown soon enough.

SoFlaJets
I will NOT be watching that game, I can't take having the Jets get embarrassed on National TV by the likes of the Miami Dolphins. Nothing good can come of that game for me, if the Jets happen to pull out a win it screws up our draft position and the very very slim chance we have of drafting the kid from Oregon. Also, as a south Florida resident having to endure the Jets getting blown out by our most hated rival...as I said nothing good can possibly come from this game. I ain't watching
Mogglez
After the article I just posted and this news getting out, sh*t is going to get ugly FAST. What a f*cking sh*tshow. This year is officially worse than 2012 for me.

CrazyCarl40
This is the best route to a better draft pick. It matters not who starts at QB for the rest of 2014. Time to start focusing on 2015.
AFJF
Thanks Idzik Why not fire Rex after last season, bring in a new guy and tell him things are gonna' be tough in year one, but give him time to build a rapport with the players who will be around and evaluate anyone who might be worth keeping. Now that Idzik has chosen to do it this way, we get to spend next season watching a new coach do all of the things he could have been doing this year. Worst GM this organization has ever employed up to this point.

AFJF
Guess you don't remember Jim Kensil Honestly, I don't. Became a fan at age 11 in 87/88 and at that point you're just watching the players...I don't even remember when it was that I realized teams had GMs.
AFJF
Can someone tell me why Vick SHOULD start? Honestly, I thought it mattered a few weeks ago when it looked like they might be able to string a few wins together and sustain some drives, but it really doesn't matter. Geno is terrible and Vick is gone after this season. The thing that makes the most sense is starting Simms and that's not gonna' happen.

The Jets get too understand more fully what they have in Geno. Can he be a back up? Can they salvage anything from him? He IS on their payroll for future years. The Jets owe Vick nothing. He was clearly not mentally prepared to play a football game Monday night. It was so obvious. The Jets should not allow him to showcase anything of himself for another team next year. Flushing Roots
I'll be cleaning out my sock drawer on Monday night but for those of you looking to get out of the house and see some cost effective entertainment, the tickets on SH for the Jets/Dolphins game may be about $5 a head. Payroll is meaningless in his case. A second round QB on a team that's going to have around $50 mil in cap room? Not an issue. His inability to look past his first read after 20+ games is enough. As Jets fans we've seen almost exclusively horrible QB play for most of our lives. How many times did you hear an opponent say they were upset to see a guy get pulled because they knew they were going to pick him off all day? Are you referring to the Jets defense? I'm not sure what this has to do with Geno, but I'd like to see him stay on the bench and see what Simms has. If Simms is an absolute wreck who doesn't belong in the NFL, he'll basically be Geno 2.0.
