flgreen
Chris Rock rips Jets: 'Even Bill Cosby is happy he's not Geno Smith' Chris Rock Kanye West Actor/director Chris Rock, left, and co-producer Kanye West attend the premiere of "Top Five" at the Ziegfeld Theatre on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014, in New York. "I grew up loving Tony Dorsett and America's Team, and all that," said Rock, who grew up in Brooklyn. "But I'm in New York, so who do I go see? I go see the Jets." In his own inimitable way, Rock sounded every bit like a disaffected Jets fan. "The Jets, these last two years have been sad," Rock said. "Even Bill Cosby is happy he's not Geno Smith." Cosby, the legendary comedian, has lately been accused of drugging and raping several women. Smith, the Jets' quarterback, has turned the ball over in a bunch of football games. Let's agree to leave Rock's comment where he set them down. "It's pretty bad, man," said Rock, who has a directing, writing, and acting credit for Top Five. "It is pretty bad. JaMarcus Russell [the infamous Raiders draft bust of a quarterback] is going, 'What's he thinking?' The guy was wide open! That's what JaMarcus Russell would say." Rock wasn't done explaining his Cowboys/Jets fandom. "When you're a Jet fan, you need an alternate every year," he said. "Your'e, like, OK, we're going to actually have a football season for about four games. Then it's kind of over, then it's nice to find another team to follow." The Cowboys may be good this year, but they've won just one playoff game in the last 19 years. "At least they get to December," Rock said. "The Jets, the season's over by Halloween the last couple of years. You're, like, OK, this is over. "I don't understand them. I don't understand them. I love [head coach Rex Ryan]," he said, no doubt a reference to Ryan's massive personality. "I love Rex. If I owned a Home Depot, I would hire Rex Ryan to run it. We would turn a tremendous profit." Eisen then set Rock up perfectly for a joke about Ryan by asking if he would let Ryan run the entire Home Depot. "Well, not the offensive part of it," Rock said. Rock goes on to rip into the Jets for bringing in Michael Vick to back up Smith at quarterback. You can listen to the whole thing below. Rock's Jets commentary begins around the four-minute mark and runs until the eighth minute. http://www.nj.com/jets/index.ssf/2014/12/chris_rock_rips_jets_even_bill_cosby_is_happy_hes_not_geno_smith_audio.html
Sperm Edwards
Geno Smith will outlive Bill Cosby by a half a century. He's in perfect health and he can look at his family without shame or whispers or gossip. Bill Cosby wishes he was Geno Smith.
rillo
At least Geno hasn't been accused of rape....multiple times. So he has that going for him.
Jack Straw
At least Geno hasn't been accused of rape....multiple times. So he has that going for him. Geno is still young, give him some time. Cosby didn't develop his ability to rape until his 30s, so Geno still has a chance.

DaBallhawk
Considering how much time Geno spends in theatres he could easily trash Chris Rock for his unfunny piece of sh*t movies and his crappy comedy material these days. He used to be funny in the 90s.

SoFlaJets
I have been finding myself rooting for the Cowboys this year too. Chris Rock jammed with me back in the early 90's when he was on SNL. I didn't know who the funny focker was until I saw him on a SNL rerun THAT NIGHT!!! He was stoned too LOL

SoFlaJets
I was playing at this bar on the intracoastal waterway in West Palm and this skinny black kid comes up and asks me to play dust in the wind and throws a few bucks in the tip jar. Then he starts telling the people "You people need come up here and tip this man, or come over and rob you" You just knew that he had funny spirit and he had me laughing and then stood up there at the mic with me and we did a duet of Kansas' Dust In The Wind-cool experience
