k-met57
i don't watch a lot of college football but he seems like exactly the kind of a OLB prospect we all wanted 2 years ago and whiffed on when Jordan, Ansah, and Mingo all got picked before us. 6'6 240 motor, plays nasty, production in college... Sounds like Mariotta, Winston, Williams are all going to be gone in the top 5....that leaves Shane Ray, Cooper, and Gregory...personally i want cooper, but i think he may be gone to oakland...dont know much about shane ray. SenorGato
I like McKinney, Oakman, or Kikaha in the 2-3 maaaaaybe 4-5 range.

peebag
Why? He looks really impressive on film. I think there's numerous examples of players with similar skill sets that have come into the NFL and done diddle squat (i.e. Aaron Maybin) - what I've seen of him with the Huskers the past two years doesn't impress me...at least with a top ten pick. For example, Gregory would likely be best in a wide-9 position. Pin the ears back and let him mop up from the interior pressure. Putting a 4-3 DE at 3-4 OLB (Barkevious Mingo, Dion Jordan, etc.) hasn't yielded results as quickly as the guys who move right into a 4-3 DE position (Anthony Barr, Khalil Mack, Ezekial Ansah). The latter of which is incredibly raw on football IQ, but has the physical skills to chase down a QB. Randy Gregory strikes me as having very high understanding of the game. His delayed bull-rush is unlike anything I've seen, and if put in Ansah's position would be very effective.
The Troll
Ready to just be a 4-3. After nine years of failing to get an impact pass rusher as an OLB, I'm ready to be done with the concept. Mo and Coples with Richardson on the interior would be quite sufficient. Actually excited to see what they can do when not saddled as 3-4 ends. Jets have lacked a speedy edge rusher for years, they're not going to have one in a 4-3 with two jumbo DE's.
Tinstar
I don't get the love for Randy Gregory. What is everyone seeing that I am missing ?
SenorGato
Lots of interesting DE/OLBs in this draft, so it will take something special to draft one at 6. OL or QB please!
Tony The Wiz
I do watch a lot of College and Gregory was way better last year. He seems disinterested just like Clowney and Coples their last year. He has all the skills but does he have the drive? Did anyone watch the bowl game the other night. He was getting blocked by a freshman who hasn't started all year and this tackle was getting the best of him all night. If I was going this route I would rather pick Shane Ray or Vic Beasley. Also Arkansas Trey Flowers has a motor that never stops. These are my top three right now and Gregory needs to show me something in an all star game or the combine. OLB has become a treachorous position in recent years to draft. Gholston was a historic bust. Jordan has stunk and Mingo's been a JAG. Even Clowney had a bad rookie season. I know we're 3-4 but I'm very worried about taking any OLB with a top 10 pick now.
