SenorGato
http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=espn:9816677 That's him getting his ass handed to him in 2013 by Nate Orchard, a badass, underrarted (probably rising) pass rushing prospect and 2014 All American. Orchard put up 5.5 sacks against Stanford over the past 2 years, including 3.5 this year. Anyway, David Shaw compares him to Jonathan Ogden and he's seen as the best OT in this draft. He's an All-American everywhere, second team for a couple of major ones (AP, CBS, Phil Stelle's mid and pre season). At 6'7" 320 he's said to have a tight end's athleticism, and he does move like a cat in the night to recover that fumble after bombing at his real job. Was all Pac-12 in 2013, sometimes second team. 2 full seasons as a starter and a third with ~300 snaps on the OL. #8 ranked recruit in the country for 2012. His fit on the roster is obvious: 2015 - starter at RT by 2017 - replaces D'Brick at LT Sooo...yes, right?
Greenseed4
Check out Brandon Scherff. Count his pancakes
Beerfish
Is DBrick really that close to being done? I do think our draft postiion will put us in line to take a top end olineman but I sure wish we didn't have to go that route.
derp
Jets are a few years away, and it all starts in the trenches. If they can't get a quarterback that they like, I'd have zero problem going offensive line. Edge rusher would work too. There's really not many positions I'd rule out honestly, could make almost anything work.

His reaction and first step was either the fault of the QB for not being random with the count or this guys anticipation is straight ridiculous. Either way that was a fine play right there. He was literally in the chest of the Tackle before he was able to fully get out of his stance. Never heard of him but I'll check him out. As for Peat, he needs to replace D'brick by 2016 because D'brick should be getting cut by the end of next year. His salary will be astronomical in 2016 and his now a middle of the pack left tackle. I think that would be the move no matter what tackle we draft (which I think we will be drafting a T in the first 2 rounds).
