Nice list, I'd add Dante Fowler Jr. to your pass rusher list.

And I dont know where Ifo Ekpre-Olomu is at in his recovery, but he was probably the best CB in the country last year.  I'd add Ronald Darby too.

Not a big fan of Mannion and especially not of Carden.  I'd put Hundley over both.  Grayson is interesting but I think he might have been more of a prospect of the system that will be taking over the University of Florida!  Petty too both system QB's.

What are everybody's thoughts on addressing the tackle spot in this draft? I'm pretty sure cutting Giacomini doesn't make sense financially and not sure he's a great fit to kick into guard at 6'7.

Going offensive line tends to be a safe bet to improve a team and in theory I'm always on board with that, but this doesn't seem to be a great draft for tackles at the top and if Brick and Giacomini are locked in as the starting tackles this year I'd hate to start a rookie out at guard, move him to right tackle for a year after Giacomini gets cut (which I'd guess will happen in 2016), and then move him over to left tackle whenever Brick is done (I'm thinking he's got 2+ years left).

I was tempted to leave Randy Gregory off the list and put  Fowler Jr  on instead, but seems everyone and their mama thinks that kid (Gregory) is the real deal.

I just don't see it. Maybe I am missing something.

About Mannion .  I like everything about the kid as a pro prospect;

He has the size at 6' 4 "  & 230

He's got the arm Talent that allows him to make every NFL throw.

He's played in a pro style offense  taking snaps from under center

He's accustomed to making checks at the LOS.

His biggest negative is he throws off the wrong leg far too often, doesn't  like to step into his throws  the way you would like  and you know exactly where he's going to be because he's not going to beat anyone in a foot race. I want to take this kid, sit him and develop him over 2 yrs  before throwing him to the wolves. A QB trio of  should be enough to make the Jets respectable for a while.

Chase Daniels

Geno Smith

Sean Mannion

2 names to keep an eye on during this process as 2nd round targets for our Jets

Cedric Ogbuehi.

Ty Sambrailo

Both are potential LT candidates who can play on the Right side until Brick leaves.

I'm a Husker fan and I think whomever gets Gregory is going to be disappointed with the selection.

Ogbuehi popped his ACL, don't think he's going to go at the top of the second.

I know, but I also read/heard somewhere that the kid said he will be ready for camp.  Both those tackles are worthy of a 2nd round pick today IMO. After the combines, when the official weights and heights come back, things might change.

I don't watch highlights as much as I watch the games, and when I look at Gregory, I see a player with zero strength at the POA. He will probably test well, but he can't get over an NFL OT.

I think even if he's going to be ready for camp, that high in the second you can usually get guys who just slipped out of the back end of the first. I know he raised some question marks with his play this year and slipped a bit and you never can tell how a guy is going to bounce back from an ACL injury. Him not being able to work out won't help matters...I'd guess he slips into the late second or early third.

Guy out of Clemson last year (Brandon Thomas maybe?) was moderately less well regarded but I think more versatile and he went in the late third after an ACL injury.

It would be great to add Steven Nelson, CB from Oregon to your list. Dude has been the most impressive CB in my eyes and he can play inside and outside. Don't let his size fool you. He has that twitch too. Joystick-type movement.

The CB I want on the Jets is not even on my List. IMO, he's the best cover corner in this draft. I really like the way Bryce Callahan goes after the football >

i like Sambrailo I think he can fall to us in the 2nd but I belive we need to go WR with our 1st if not cooper trade back and go for Strong. and get that pic in the 3rd.
