legler82
Ty Montgomery was always seen as a terrific playmaker with the ball in his hands who lacked the ball skills you would want for a WR. Now that he measured in at t 5-11 and 3/4 at the Senior Bowl, nearly three inches shorter than the 6-2 height listed by the Cardinal roster, he may want to consider a switch to RB. At 215-217 he certainly has the bulk. He's also done some spot duty at the position throughout his collegiate career. Watching some of the Senior Bowl coverage on NFLN, he is really struggling tracking the ball downfield. Right now he looks more like a PR/KR/3rd down back to me with the potential given his frame to become a full time back downline with more experience at RB. If we were to lose Powell, I wouldn't mind replacing him with Montgomery (Day 3?) as our new jack of all trades multi-purpose backs. Thoughts? Greenseed4
The pundits are saying this draft is loaded with RBs. I'm tired of drafting players to convert them to foreign positions.
