gts26rocks
Hey guys, I am a die hard Jets fan and currently go to Hofstra University. A few of my friends and I are thinking about getting Jets season tickets this year. The upper end zone tickets are pretty cheap but for a college student it is still a significant purchase. My question to you all is it worth it? Thanks.
JoeC36
yes and no. I had season tickets in 104 and am moving to the upper deck this year to save money. What I like about season tickets is myself and friend can sit with the same group of people each week and form more friendships. The family that sits behind me in 104 currently, I consider them as close as family, its tough to move upstairs, but the decision has been made. Depending on how many friends you are talking about I would suggest just buying off the secondary market each week. You can still go to all the games and will probably get the tickets for under face value and if you have a group of 3 or 4 of you, you'll always know a group of people where you sit. This is all out the door once the Jets go undefeated and go on to the Super Bowl.....BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Just kiddin!
vincenzo69
Isn't Hofstra $40K per year?
Section 333
I love the idea of sitting in the same spot to form new friendships. But I have actually done more of that in the parking lot. I had season seats in 2 different sections in the uppers and most of the time you never see the same people. Either re-sold or not STH. But for 500 a seat per year I say go for it. When I couldn't make a game I never had a hard time selling for near or over face. Except for last years Miami game of course.
