predator_05
nah. they have better LBs and a much better secondary. they are better than the jets at key positions, while the jets are better at the marginal, 1% positions that don't make a huge difference. the wonderful legacy left behind by rex ryan. papz187
It's the only position that matters in 2015. This. He knows Chan's system, he knows new GM, he fits bill to game manage Jets with our Good defense until we fix our QB situation longterm.
shawn306
Francesa has not liked the Colts talent all year. Other the Luck, Hilton, Vontae Davis there isn't much there according to him. The Jets probably have more talent than the Colts at RB and OL, and DL. Luck is going to be one of those "One in a generation QB's" who can carry a team at a young age. They don't come often and there is not one on the horizon.

I would say we definitely have the better DLine, but they have the better Secondary and Linebackers. OLine Im not sure (wash?), but Id take Ivory over their backs. I would definitely take Hilton, Nicks and their TE over our pass catchers. I think Rex's coaching, defensive scheme and familiarity with New England is the reason why we played them so closely while Pagano and Indy got blown out. House Jet
in hindsight, it really is kinda ridiculous that we went 4-12, the team really isnt that bad i mean apart from corner and qb we have talented players our OL isnt terrible, probably middle of the pack, WRs arent bad, we have good running backs, TE is eh but still we probably couldve won at least 4 or 5 more games this year i think its a testament to bad coaching and very few lucky breaks (like some of the breaks we got last year)

Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk I'm sure that did help although I would argue jets have a better D line and linebacking core than the Colts and if not its very close. Also I'm taking Decker Harvin and Kerley over Ty Hilton, Nicks in 2014, and whoever they have in the slot. TE and DB the Colts are better. So the position groups skill levels are close but I think individually you have less disposable players on the jets than you do on the colts

I didn't count Harvin cause he wasn't here for the first Pats game, and I believe he didn't do much in the 2nd Pats game cause he got hurt. To me Hilton is definitely the better WR on either team, the TE Fleener (?) is the better TE on either team and Nicks is solid. That's why I give pass catchers to Indy. I don't know why people are saying the Colts are better at LB. Their run defense stunk to high heaven Our OL isn't close to what it used to be. Mathis and Freeman are really good linebackers. Mathis had 20 sacks in his last season, he'd be our best defensive player by a mile. I'd also take Bradshaw over any RB we have. He might be an old fart with a million injuries but he was scoring TDs every week when healthy. we only beat them at DL and WR. I'd take Decker/Harvin over Hilton/Moncrief. they are better or at least as good everywhere else. Fatcessa hates the Jets anyway, why are we even discussing him

Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk Well he's discussing the team's talent overall, I know I brought up the Pats games in comparison but, based on the overall team talent I throw Harvin in there. TE I agree Fleener better TE on either team but I believe the Jets have a better group of wideouts than the Colts because to me, Harvin is just as good if not better than Hilton and Decker is better than anything the Colts have after Hilton.
