The 'K' balls definitely are, but I don't know that the regular offense balls are. If not, does anyone, not just Jets fans, but anyone outside of NE, have a hard time believing that Bellichick is entirely capable of having a second bag of prepped balls left in the bathroom for this exact scenario? It's not like you have to remove the ball to find the needle hole. Just prick it and move on. Team can be fined. They don't need to figure out if it was you who corked the bat or not. The patriots were caught using illegal balls that gives you a distinct advantage.
