ESPN Chicago's Michael C. Wright writes that "nobody knows" whether Brandon Marshall will be back with the Bears in 2015.

The Bears signed Marshall to a new four-year, $39 million deal last May, but the regime that handed him that extension is gone. Marshall is still a fine player and worth the money, but there's some question whether he'll be able to coexist with Chicago's new staff. OC Adam Gase was the Broncos' WRs coach when Josh McDaniels banished Marshall from Denver. Marshall also had a 2014 falling out with Jay Cutler. Per the website OverTheCap.com, the Bears could save $3.95 million in cap space by cutting Marshall this offseason.

Forget about Dez Bryant of Jeremy Maclin, they're staying.

Make it happen, Tanny.

He'll be 31 next month and had less yardage then Decker this past season plus he's not a good locker room guy.. I rather build through the draft..

Who do you like in the draft?

Well if the Raiders don't take Cooper I would take him but I have a funny feeling the Buc's take Winston and Mariota falls to the Jets.If that happens it will be interesting if they keep him or get a bank load of picks from the Eagles plus Foles..

why would they trade up to snag a wr who was projected to go later than our pick?

That's not how the draft works if you like a player you take him. When are projections always right?? BB reaches for a player early if he likes him as do most GM's with a brain.. Now maybe Idzik didn't like him that could be..

the other thing is they might have tried to move up to grab him or someone else and we will never know.

Who the Giants?? They stayed pat and if we liked him and traded up we could have had him.. Are you under the impression that every team knows what the others are doing at all times??

what im saying is that it would be stupid to move up in order to draft someone who is likely to fall further than your pick, the other thing I am trying to say is the jets might have tried to move up and grab him anyway.

Think Crabtree continues to fly under the radar. Dez and BeyBey aren't going anywhere, and Crabby was as productive and dominant as they come in college. It's clear he's on the way out in SF. He's the right fit at Z across from Decker at X and would allow us to develop Parker/Strong/Hardy/DGB without rushing them onto the field in desperation. ...and he's coming off a year that saw a dysfunctional SF's offense, so he'll be bargain.

NYJ 2015 Wide Receiving corp;

X: Decker, DGB/Parker

Z: Crabtree, Owusu

Slot: Kerley, Graham

Boom

Apparently they didn't think that much of him I think he was projected by most to go where he did Watkins and Evans were always projected ahead of him.. I think the Mocks had him going to the 49'ers at 11 by trading up..LOL

You guys would seriously pass on Brandon Marshall to "build through the draft"? The obsession with having young players at every position is stupid.

Marshall is a great wide receiver. Not to mention he's better than anybody we have and would really complete the unit. As long as he's not grossly overpaid why would anybody be against it?

You can't have young superstars at every position. Every team needs their veterans. I would use the same argument if Larry Fitz hits free agency.

He hasn't had a 1,000 yd season since 2011 and his cap hit in 2015 is 23,600,000

Why did the Jets pass on all those good WR's last year?

For Calvin Pryor?????

That is the question all Jets fans are asking over and over and over and over and why that regime no longer exists here
