Anyone ever go out to check out the Yanks AA affiliate for a game?  Probably gonna' head out there this season since it's a short drive from my place in PA...curious to hear what people think about it.

I have driven by the ballpark, and it looks very nice.

Really, if you love the sport, minor league baseball is a great experience, no matter where you go.

If you are seeing an affiliate of the mlb team you like, so much the better. We have gone to a number of games at SWB

Cool...now that I'm back in the states and games don't start at 1am I'm hoping to get back into baseball.

Went to a few Tampa Yankees games back when I lived in Fl but that was a looooong time ago.

So true.

As MLB games get more and more expensive, nice days at a minor league park seem all that much more attractive.

This.

I was kind of disappointed when I got to KY/TN 10 years ago as I got accustomed to going to several  Royals games each year.  St. Louis and Atlanta are not far, but they are not a return home after the game.

I have been going to Nashville Sounds games the last few years.  It is a lot cheaper and the atmosphere is so much better.

I was stationed in Colorado Springs when I first joined the Air Force back in '97.  Colorado Sky Sox were right up the road and used to go to games for five bucks or something like that if I had  nothing to do.  The ball used to FLY out of that place...altitude is actually higher than Coors Field.
