Integrity28 Posted February 16, 2015 Share Posted February 16, 2015 I'm about 3 episodes in. The character development is well paced and unforced. The plot lines are interesting, and don't resolve in an episode like the CSI crap that's all over the networks. The writing and character development was good and interesting early, but you can tell that after Amazon gave the greenlight to multiple episodes (I think this is one of those shows they tested the pilot to see if it would sink/swim) that they hurried it a bit too much. The writing devolves into something that feels like it should start Marishka Hargitay or Ashley Judd in the early 2000's. If a second season is created, I'd check it out just for the potential that the first few episodes revealed... but this in no way reached the ceiling of being like True Detectives like I thought it could.
