The top olineman thread....

We have a very vocal group that feels the Jets need to add to the oline reasonably early in this draft so let's talk oline.

Scherff is the highest rated olineman it seems, played tackle in college but many of the 'experts' have him slotted to play guard at the next level.

A look at some of the olineman:

Brandon Scherff - Iowa: 6'5", 319, 33 3/8 arms

Andrus Peat - Stanford: 6'7", 313, 34 3/8 arms

La'el Collins - LSU: 6'4", 305, 33 1/4 arms

Ereck Flowers - Miami: 6'6", 329, 34 1/2" arms

Cameron Erving - FSU: 6'5", 313, 34 1/8" arms

T.J. Clemmings - Pittsburgh: 6'5", 309, 35 1/8" arms

A.J. Cann - South Carolina: 6'3", 313, 32 5/8" arms

Jake Fisher - Oregon: 6'6", 306, 33 3/4" arms

Laken Thomlinson - Duke: 6'3", 323, 33 5/8" arms

Tre Jackson - FSU: 6'4", 330, 32 5/8" arms

Lots of others but these are the some of the highest rated.  Who do you like.

My fav from that list is Cam Erving.  Played C last year but has played both OG and OT, versatile, very good.  Would have to hope he drops to our pick in the 2nd round.

I am having trouble cutting and pasting, so I have to re-type this. I was late to make my pick in the mock and T0m selected Cam Erving on my behalf for the Steelers. I went and checked out what the Steelers boards thought of him and found this.

Cameron Erving - Florida State - 6'5" 310 lbs - Tackle/Guard/Center - Erving is an extremely versatile lineman with a rare combination of size and athleticism. The more tape I watched on him, the less impressed I became. I think he goes too high for what his true value is.
