Do the Dolphins, Jets and Bills ask this same question every single season?

Signs point to yes.

Patriots will win the #1 seed this year, be back in the AFC Championship in the very least, and maybe the Bills and Dolphins will contend for a wildcard spot up until about week #15 when at least one of them blows it.

So to answer the question you ask every single offseason, the answer is "No."

The Pats will be the best team in the AFC east again.  not much to argue.  but you have to be an inbred turd to think the losses to your secondary isn;t going to be a problem in the rest of the AFC.  So we have our answer.

Plus you guys still have Revis, since there isn't ANY chance he signs with the Jets.

I think this is the 1st year in a long time that the division games will all be tough for the Pats. Jets D will be no joke & I don't even know how we lost both games last year?

We dominated in New England, friends that are Pats fans said that win felt like a loss, lol.

Skin of their teeth win again at MetLife.

The Bills will be real trouble if the Pats can't stop their running game which could happen.

Suh is bound to get at least one punishing hit on Brady.

It's gonna be interesting.

Starting this season them footballs up there in FlatzVille will be blown up properly.  In 36 days the Famous Jets get one

of the top 2 QBs in the 2015 draft.  Turned the tables already.  Problem solved before opening day!!

The whole key to the gap closing in the AFC East is turnover ratio.  Brady is the big reason for the difference for sure but look back at the turnover ration for teams in the AFC east over the years, it is totally mind boggling.

deflated balls...

The turnover ratio of every team and the Pats is off the charts.

Revis only gave us a +3% improvement to our defense.

I think we'll survive him returning to the Jets.

The Patriots were winners long before Revis showed up, and the Patriots defense wasn't the story of the playoffs this year. It was Tom Brady and his comeback magic.

Revis didn't make the Pats a winner. The Pats made Revis one.

On paper the gap has been closed because the Jets, Dolphins and Bills have all improved and the Pats are worse off then they were last year. However nothing matters but wins and losses and even with all that the Pats could win 12 with Brady while everyone stays in the rear trying to get past 8 wins.

Idk, maybe if bellicheat finds another illegal play to use when he can't win it straight up

Ahhhhhh, the annual "afc east gap tightening" article........

Good times

Yep. Like clockwork. The only time the Pats haven't won the AFCE since 2003 was when Brady's knee exploded in the 1st half of the 1st game in 2008. Even then the Pats lost the division on a tie-breaker with an 11-5 record. Damn you Brett Favre!

Oh you mean that "illegal play" that was legal?

You people.

Get a little more butthurt.

it was legal.....but had to be quickly made illegal because it was poor sportsmanship. lining guys up on the line and waiting till the very last possible time tell the refs who is eligible so the defense had no time to cover the right guy. it's called...we can't win this one straight up so we'll have to cheat a bit. your team is a bunch of cheaters......everyone knows it
