JetBlue
I found this 7 round mock to be interesting. I would definitely be okay if this is how our draft went. http://www.drafttek.com/2015-NFL-Mock-Draft-Round1.asp 6 NY Jets Dante Fowler Jr Florida OLB Reach/Value:-1 Height: 6'3" Weight: 261 Alternate Pick #1 Vic Beasley Alternate Pick #2 Amari Cooper As FA starts to die down, we are left under no illusion as to what our new GM sees as this team's major weakness. The Jets signed a plethora of DB's, including prodigal sons Revis and Cromartie, to beef up our terrible pass defense. They also re-signed David Harris and tendered Damon Harrison. The only missing link appears to be a genuine edge eusher. We are in luck, as this years' class is bursting at the seams with very talented guys. In this CMD, we opt forFlorida standout Dante Fowler Jr. Fowler had a very impressive final season (60 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, and 8.5 sacks) which saw him voted team and Defensive MVP. He had the opportunity to show his versatility for the Gators, rushing from all around the field and from a 2- or 3-point stance. ~Rich Tinley, Jets Analyst 37 NY Jets Tevin Coleman Indiana RBF Reach/Value:-10 Height: 5'10" Weight: 206 Alternate Pick #1 Brett Hundley Alternate Pick #2 Nelson Agholor With Fowler being the final piece of the puzzle on Defense, it's Offense from here on out. There were a few potential options here but in the end I went with Indiana RB Tevin Coleman.Coleman WAS the Indiana Offense. Despite being the only real weapon the opposition had to game plan for, they still couldn't stop him. He rushed for an impressive 2,036 Yards, 15 TD's, and 7.5 yards per carry average. Coleman is an ideal replacement for CJ2K. He would complement Chris Ivory perfectly and is the home run threat this backfield is missing. With the additions of burner Phillip Dorsett in RD 3 to complete our upgraded WR corps, and top OT prospect Cedric Obguehi, who falls to us due to injury in RD 4, this CMD would make for a serious improvement in the talent levels on our offense. 70 NY Jets Phillip Dorsett Miami (Fl)WRS Reach/Value:-1 Height: 5'10" Weight: 185 Alternate Pick #1 Devin Funchess Alternate Pick #2 Bryce Petty 104 NY Jets Cedric Ogbuehi Texas A & M LOT Reach/Value:-29 Height: 6'5" Weight: 306 Alternate Pick #1 Terry Poole Alternate Pick #2 Garrett Grayson 223 NY Jets Levi Norwood Baylor WRF Reach/Value: +14 Height: 6'1" Weight: 195 Alternate Pick #1 Dezmin Lewis Alternate Pick #2 Curtis Grant 224 NY Jets Curtis Grant Ohio St ILB Reach/Value:+2 Height: 6'3" Weight: 240 Alternate Pick #1 J.R. Tavai Alternate Pick #2 David Helton At 104 I might have gone with Grayson and considered OL with one of the 7th round picks but apparently Ogbuehi was a top prospect who dropped because of injury. Overall I could live with this draft although I think the Norwood pick is kinda a throwaway. Definitely loving our first 3 picks. Thoughts? Tinstar
223 has to be a QB. Jets can't come out of this draft without some sort of a prospect at QB. Other than that, pretty decent draft

Other than that, pretty decent draft I agree. I think we just miss out on Sean Mannion at 223. Maybe we can snag a Brandon Bridge at 223 or 224. JetBlue
Btw this mock as the DGB going to the Dolphins and Sammie Coates to the Pats respectively. If that happens our revamped secondary is going to be put to the test right out of the gate....

I wouldn't worry about that
Larz
Why ? no QB taken there will even beat out simms. it's a wasted pick. you aren't going to get a starter on either side of the ball there. you take a LB, RB or WR that can contribute on specials so he has a chance to make the team. otherwise it's a wasted pick
JetBlue
two rookies vs. revis? I wouldn't worry about that Revis can't cover the entire field. You add DGB to Jarvis, Stills and the two TEs Miami signed and that offense has just become real dangerous. Coates on NE gives Brady his best deep threat since Randy Moss. Not saying we won't be able to match up but those two moves will make those offenses potentially a lot better (NE is already pretty damn good...)
