Maybe, but it is still important to keep an eye on.

Completley agree and it makes sense.  Thanks for putting the list together.

Last year you could even point to the pro days in which people reported Idzik as most involved.  There were lots of reports of him in Louisville pro day (which some said it was for bridgewater, but it was obviously for Pryor) and especially Amaro.  Or a few years before there were reports of the jets putting Coples through various extra drills.    When I saw the report of Rex working out Bryce Petty I immediately thought that he is a target for the bills given the coples and other experiences.  Just not sure how our new admnistration is going to operate, so it will be interesting to see the pick(s) and what predicted them (lots of visits, work out, etc).

Man, I wish they'd move the FREAKING Draft up to Mid-April!!

What a Loooong drawn out process this is. If I were the NFLP reps, I would push for this. Less time for these

young men and current players to get in trouble before the draft; damaging their selection status.

Who TF is this guy? Had 2.5 sacks his Junior year... and 0 all other years. Maxed out at 30 total tackles. Ranked as an UFA........ Why?

DTs do not always have high sack numbers. Albanian kid with crazy high SPARQ numbers.

I like him.

You think the center is going to block you. And as you go to attack the center, the center doesn’t block you. The guard comes and ear holes you. Your tackle’s coming inside to try and get into his gap but he can’t get into his gap because you’re in his gap now because you got ear holed by the guard. So not only do you not know what’s going on, you got ear holed, and the tackle steps on your foot and then you just want to scream out of anger.

“You just got to keep fighting,” Sokoli said. “Even though sometimes it might not make a lot of sense you got to keep fighting and then you get to enjoy the better moments of it when it does make sense.”

Jets among teams checking out Brett Hundley

The Jets haven’t been shy about their desire to add another quarterback to a depth chart that currently includes Geno SmithRyan Fitzpatrick andMatt Simms and they’ve spent some time withMarcus Mariota recently.

There’s a pretty good chance that Mariota won’t be around when the sixth pick rolls around, though, and the Jets might not want to pay the price to move up high enough to guarantee themselves a chance to take the 2014 Heisman winner, so they’re also checking out options expected to be available later in the draft.

Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports that the Jets had a private workout with UCLA quarterback Brett Hundley, who is expected to be picked on the second day of the draft. Hundley’s size, arm and speed have drawn plenty of attention the last couple of years, but he faces familiar questions about transitioning to the NFL after starring as a dual-threat quarterback out of the shotgun in college.

The Jets aren’t the only team kicking the tires to see if they think he can pull it off. The Texans met with Hundley and Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Cardinals have also scheduled a visit with him. Rapoport adds that the Eagles and Bengals have also worked out a prospect whose arrival is likely to stoke a training camp competition wherever he lands in the draft.
