prime21
No responses? Guys must be tired of mocks, lol. Hunter has potential but I'm not sure Johnson is the guy we are looking for at RB in the draft. I would prefer a quick runner that can also catch although Johnson does have decent hands.
#27TheDominator
I hated Danielle Hunter in the clips I watched. I assume he will have a fairly high floor because he is such a great athlete, but he just seems to stand there when the ball is snapped on almost every play. He seems like one of those guys most of us don't like. I think that is why he drops in most of the mocks. I passed on him in the 3rd in the JN mock for Preston Smith. I wonder if he has a "special teams" mentality. Not in love with Mannion or Johnson, but depending how the board fell, I can see your picks. With Hunter and Gwacham you have a couple of big guys that can run.
Beerfish
What I don't get is that the people hollering the loudest for Scherff at 6 don't bother picking one of the decent oline prospects in round 2 or 3?

In my Opinion, every player on my draft with the exception of Cooper is a round too Early, but that's what you do when you don't have picks in the 5th and 6th round . It's the big reason why I feel the Jets should trade down.
maury77
I'm not a fan of Hunter, he looks dumb on tape. Gwacham, however, is a very nice developmental prospect. I think he played WR at Oregon State until last year, when they switched him to defense. Very good athlete.
Beerfish
Like who Fish ? Give me a name you think will be there in the 2nd and I will tell you if I have an interest. 2nd and 3rd round possibilities: Ereck flowers, 24th on my sheet could possibly drop, Cam Erving could still be there early 2nd, TJ clemmings 26th on my sheet. Jake Fisher, Laken Thomlison, AJ Cann, Tre Jackson, Ogbuehi, Donovan Smith, DJ Humphries should be gone. With a possible run on WR's a couple of RBs, the strong dline/rush end group some of these guys will be around in 2 or 3.

Of the names you mentioned, the only 2 that interest me are Flowers and Ogbuehi . Flowers I believe is a late 1st and Ogbuehi is a LT or RT that won't be of much help to us in 2015 . Now if for some reason, Andrus Peat makes it to 37 I would be heavily interested, but I don't see it happening . By the way, I happen to think that Flowers is a RT only prospect. In a perfect world, the Jets trade out of 6, end up with 2 1st and a 5th this year and a 1st next yr . We take : Gurley Collins or Peat use the 5th rounder on Mannion And build from there. Both would probably be rated higher with another yr in college . Both are extremely athletic and Raw. If 1 pans out so much the better. Hunter looks like he has no clue what's going on out there, but when he moves, he gets there in a hurry.
Patriot Killa
I could see the Dolphins trading up in front of us with Washington for either Cooper or White.. Which ever one Oakland leaves on the board.
bealeb319
Like who Fish ? Give me a name you think will be there in the 2nd and I will tell you if I have an interest. Ali Marpet will probably be a late second or early third round pick and I think he could play any position on the line, because he went to a small school I think a lot of teams will have him highly under rated and I think he will end up being one of the best linemen out of this draft. 3-4 months ago most people probably didn't know his name but he has made a name for himself quickly. Ohio State NY Jets fan
After some research, I like Danielle Hunter and David Johnson for the Jets 2nd and 3rd round picks, nice work Hunter has great size and potential to really help our pass rush and Johnson catching the ball out of the backfield would make some plays in this offense.... did not know much about them before reading this mock, Thanks
