I started from the beginning of season 1 last night. Will watch all 26 episodes again. Currently on episode 7.

I rewatched S1 a few weeks ago, still so good. I like how the effects of Urich's death aren't just for dramatic effect in S1. They bring it back into the fold in S2 and it has some major implications.

You know what's funny? The second the prison fight scene ended, I thought to myself, man, poor Tom, that guy is like 0 for a billion.

1. I didn't get to the fight scene yet.

2. I carry a Kevin Love-type career stat line overall.

Just finished season 2; pretty much echo everything above, it was fantastic. Although the Foggy/Karen/Matt morality scenes were a bit annoying, the only thing that I could truly complain about was that there wasn't enough D'Onofrio in it, he's just so f*cking amazing as Kingpin.

I'm curious how they're going to use Karen in season 3: is she going to run off and make movies with Johnny Blaze or are we going to get the heroin-addicted, stint in pornography Karen Page. As annoying as the latter would be, Deborah Ann Woll does possess one hell of a fantastic body...

I think the latter already happened. They have been hinting here and there about it over both seasons so I think we're definitely seeing Born Again at some point. She'll probably go through some sort of relapse in S3 or 4 where she'll spill the beans to Fisk.

Ahh, so that's the secret that they've been alluding to, I thought they were going to create a backstory of her having a hand in her brother's death or revenge on it...i could only partially read that article clipping when I paused it.  I really don't remember much from Born again other than the story arc with Nuke, Captain America and of course Karen shooting pornos down in mexico and then turning tricks for some weirdo truck driver.  As you've mentioned earlier, if they bring in Nuke and Cap, it's just going to be hard to suspend reality in the show regarding the Avengers and Spidey if they feature Cap.

Also, WTF WAS THAT GIANT HOLE!? Is Bullseye coming? No way Karen survives season 3?

Interesting..I have grown "old" of the Donofrio character.    I loved the series, would love a body scene with the secretary:D.

She has one of those "girl next door" impressions and then you realize how hot she is.

It has to be. I don't see what other sort of past they could be alluding to considering how faithful they've been to the Miller books.

And they have to bring Nuke in. They just have to. They can't introduce him in Jessica Jones like that and just not ever have him be a part of this stuff. Maybe when they do The Defenders?

I'm sure you're right, but when you pause it while she's in Urich's office, there's an article about the death of her brother. Was that part of the story, I don't remember?

Finished it. Loved it. Punisher was awesome. Found it slightly amusing that Bernthal got to rehash some of the same conversations on morality he had with Rick in TWD with Daredevil in this. What I found interesting is, don't most viewers side with The Punisher/Shane ethos towards violence against ones' enemies?

Just wrapped up S2.

- There is an argument to be made for Bernthal's Punisher to be the most truest to form interpretation of a comic character on-screen. Episodes 2-4 had me on the edge of my seat the entire time with him. It's clear that him and the writers really did their homework and put extensive thought into it. So much of that dialogue was pulled right from the Punisher Max stuff. Just fantastic. He deserves his own series.

- I thought Elektra was good, not great. I don't know. I found some of the fight scenes with her to be a little on the weaker side, and it took way too long for the writers to reveal what she was. I get that they wanted to save it for the finale, but I was starting to lose interest in her story by episode 12.

- Stick rocks.

- The setup they've done for Karen is brilliant. Karen Page is an integral character in the comics and they have set everything up so perfectly for Born Again, which I'm guessing they'll do in S3 or S4.

- I think one of the concerns I had with the show in S1 became even more of a problem now through S2. The hitch with having all of this exist in the same universe as the MCU is we're constantly left asking where the Avengers are if something really hits the fan. This of course is never a problem in the comics for obvious reasons, but them turning to the story with The Hand brings larger problems into the picture and it's hard to buy that characters like Dr. Strange and Spider-Man wouldn't have an interest in any of this considering Peter Parker patrols NY and the Sanctum Sanctorum is less than 3 miles away. Not to mention Iron-Man considering the Stark Tower is in Columbus Circle, or Captain America who will always have some sort of interest in New York. It's going to be hard to keep suspending disbelief if they go deeper into the supernatural aspects of the Marvel Universe.

- All in all I still give this show an A+. I think it's the best comic series ever and hands down the best thing Marvel has ever done. Bring on Luke Cage.

When Karen's first in the Newspaper building, talking with the editor guy, there's a framed headline of Tony Stark in the background. Thought that was kinda cool.

I have to be honest, let the hate rain down...but she has cankles. I'd get slightly annoyed every time they showed her below the knees. God I'm an a$$hole. I know. But it's true.
