Overheard before going out on the mound, "How in the hell do we deflate one of these???"

Fun fact: Tom Brady was once selected in the 18th round of the 1995 Major League Baseball Draft by the Montreal Expos.

Brady chose Indiana Jones-level wisely in deciding to pursue football instead. On Monday, Brady found himself back on the diamond, throwing out the ceremonial first pitch for the Red Sox home opener at Fenway Park.

Credit to Brady for throwing from the rubber and not the bottom of the mound as many first-pitchers do. Credit to Big Papi for scooping up Brady's errant toss, a 55-footer that crossed the home plate vicinity on a bounce.

And now, just to get you Boston fans all verklempt, here's Brady taking some batting practice from Red Sox great Pedro Martinez. Say hi to your mother for me.

No doubt if Brady was pitching MLB would revert back to the dead core balls from the 70's, course the bat boy would soak them for 5 mins in a pre-game visit to the John. Umpires of course would never notice the lead brick balls they're throwing out to the mound. ERA below 1.00, even the roid freaks hit dull thudded grounders to the infield. Brady was destined to greatness in whatever he did....smh.

He's friends with Arod

He wears Yankees caps and goes to games...I'd say there's a possibility hes a fan...which is probably as much speculation as you saying A's or Giants. So...whatever.
