Jets more organized than Giants, at least at one thing

 

Very little the Jets have done in the last few years would be described as organized, especially in relation to their more successful older brothers with whom they share a stadium.But perhaps changes made at a basic level will one day pay off.

 

Via Darryl Slater of NJ.com, an apples to apples comparison of local pro day workouts last week came out in favor of the Jets.A source who was at both said the Jets workout “was much more organized and felt more structured” than the Giants’.

 

In the big picture, that might not mean much. It might not mean anything at all.But as new General Manager Mike Maccagnan tries to reverse course for a franchise that has made many blunders in recent years, even the small things can matter for the Jets, if only to establish a pattern.

 

Get enough of them right, and perhaps one day they’ll win trophies like the Giants do.
