In the Kevin Spacey movie "Casino Jack", he was portrayed by Jon Lovitz. By all accounts Lovitz is actually a good guy, but he is Jon Lovitz. Not sure which is worse, going to federal prison or having yourself reduced to film for eternity as JOn Lovitz. And based on his never-ending stream of BS, Ryan has the Liar Guy thing down pat already. Goodman, as good as he is, has kindness in his eyes. In order to really capture Rex, you need someone who can show the fear and contempt behind the eyes of Rex has every time he opens his mouth and sh*t comes out.
