SouthernJet
Marshall/Decker will get a lot of CB/Safety/nickel attention. Kerley (or drafted WR) slants should now be single covered, while not only will Amaro more than likely only have LB coverage , but he will also be a 'close to the line of scrimmage' safety valve for whoever our QB is. I think both will have nice years, but my vote goes to Amaro being biggest beneficiary as I think he will be on field more and )especially if Geno is QB) I think he will get a ton of 'Primary WR covered, panic throw to safety valve' receptions. BroadwayJets
Amaro should become one of the better receiving TEs this season. We have two of the top redzone threats at WR (Decker and Marshall). Amaro, although not yet proven, is a redzone threat as well. We should have plenty of TD passes this season with Fitz.
patman
Marshal is still a very good WR, but neither he or Decker commands doubling. Gailey used Chandler between the seams a lot in Buffalo and both Decker and marshal like the sidelines so my guess is Amaro.

He had a down year last year because of injuries but I expect him to have a bounce back season as he will be motivated to prove he is still one of the best. Whether teams double him or not, they will be aware of where he is on the field and will probably shift their best corner to cover him more often than not. That alone should make things a little easier for Decker and Kerley. That said, Amaro will probably benefit the most.

Yeah, he will get the #1 corner from teams that have corners that are assigned players and not a side of the field. I just said that he will not be doubled, which I believe he won't be as a matter of game planning. And you have to remember he is not having Cutler tossing him the ball, while Cutler makes some horrible decisions, he can throw the ball with the best of them. Geno, if he is the starter, can make all throws and has never had a receiver of this caliber in his short NFL career. If it's Fitz, even better as he is more established and proven; regardless, both will think they died and went to heaven to have guy like Marshall around. JetsFanInDenver
This all sounds good. But the JETS need to draft a WR in the first 3 rounds. I am really hoping Cooper falls to them.

No doubt but we don't NEED to draft a receiver in the first round. I bet Tre McBride, Kenny Bell or even a Sammie Coates will be there in the third. He is not 26 YO anymore either. And Geno can't make any throws- what games are you watching. He has a strong arm, but he does not get the ball to where his guys can catch it. Now Fitz is closer to Matt Moore. And don't bring up Miami as when he was working with sub par qbs is when he was a distraction to the team. Marshall requires everyone to play to his level, when that does not happen, he gets upset with his teammates.

Don't you have something better to do on a Pats board?? Why not worry about your own freaking team for a change?
Spoot-Face
The entire passing game will benefit tremendously from the opened-up coverage, but there is a whole other dimension being forgotten. Ivory. With the extra defenders that have to drop back to cover the pass, the LOS will be even softer. We've seen what Ivory can do when our passing game is barely a threat, but imagine what he can do when the defense can't always stack the box. Ivory is one of the best RBs in the league AFTER contact. Just because our passing game may be improved, don't count Ivory out in having a strong year and playing a pivotal role in the offense; especially late game. j4jets
Besides Geno, it will be Decker, who will be matched up against the #2 CBs for a season n see single coverage for the most part. I say 1100+ yards with 8 TDs off 85+ catches.

I say 1100+ yards with 8 TDs off 85+ catches. Decker had 74 catches for 962 yards and 5 tds while playing most of the season with a hamstring injury. Guess who is Qb was? Geno Smith. Brandon Marshall will be the best receiver Geno has ever played with yet some idiots think he won't be able to get the ball to him because he is too "inaccurate". Odds are Fitz will be the starter but if not, Geno will have the best year of his career.

Even though some may argue Decker's final stats were inflated by one game, I'd argue they were highly deflated due to his hamstring injury, not having a pure #1 opposite him and some bad QB play along with play calling. I wanted to say 1200 yards for Decker but not many receivers reach that.
