It's been interesting to see what the draftniks have done with Mariota. He's been yo-yo'd up and down everyone's board so much that it's clear no one has any idea what will happen with him, so they've just put him at 2 by default, claiming that "someone" will trade up for him. I think, objectively and in a vacuum, Mariota has late-first/early second value as a prospect, but no one wants to put their neck out and say so. I like that you have him at #10, which is where I imagine he'll end up based solely on extreme positional scarcity.

If Al Davis was alive, I'd see the Raiders taking White over Cooper, but they've gotten more value-minded since he's been gone. If they go receiver, it'd have to be Cooper there IMO. Also can't rule out Jack DelRio Stupid Factor whereby they draft Danny Shelton in that spot.

Beasly is quickly rising up boards, some are placing him ahead of Fowler now. Hard to imagine the Redskins would take Ray over Beasley. If Cooper and Mariota are still on the board at 6 I would expect some good trade offers, I think the Giants would be willing to give a first and third to move up and grab Cooper just to pair him up with OBJ and use Cruz in the slot where he played his best. I could also see the Bears scooping up Marriota to replace Cutler who is likely going to only be with them for one more season. As for Phillip Dorsett I think for him to have success he is going to need the right system and QB, I don't think New England is a good spot for him as he is blazing fast and although Brady has a quick release he doesn't have a huge arm to get the ball downfield to the guy, I think the best spots for Dorsett would be either the Eagles or the Ravens to replace Maclin or Smith.

Interesting take.  I'd cream myself if we land Cooper.

Parker in Atlanta would be fun.  That offense would be explosive...but I cant imagine a first time, defensive minded head coach taking a wideout when their defense is a joke.

Dupree in Houston would be an interesting career to follow too.  Watt, Clowney, Wilfork - opening up lanes for Dupree.

It would also be interesting to see if Cleveland offered up both picks to the Giants if they saw Mariota fall to #9.

Gurley in Arizona would be a nice fit.

Cant imagine Dorsett going first round but the Pats love picking bust WR's so it might make sense.

Solid mock, the thing that always kills mocks are the inevitable two or 3 first round trades.

Mariota is such a bloody wild card in all of this.  A lot of the experts feel teams will be all over trying to get him or draft him early.  I think there is a lot of smoke in this and that he will fall.

I like it better than Jeremiah's two-round mock on NFL.com ... he has us taking Dupree at 6, with Cooper lasting till 9 and White till 11. Getting us DGB in Rd 2 kind of makes up for it, but I'd much rather Cooper / Harold than Dupree / DGB. We need to start investing in our future at WR, rather than relying on trades for misfits from other teams forever.

DGB will be the best receiver in the draft; book it.

I love DGB and think he will be pretty good, I don't love taking Dupree at pick 6, I think if the jets are hell bent on Dupree they have to trade down somewhere between 7-15 and take the highest offer even if its a crap offer, some compensation is better than none and we would still be able to get Dupree.

If no trade then I would have no problem taking Gregory at 6.

If he falls to 6 we are 100% picking him. I still think we might trade up for him. In fact, if he makes it past 2 I expect him to be a Jet. The Jets interviewed him at the combine, monopolized him at the pro day, flew out for a private workout and then after all that brought him in for another meeting. No chance with that amount of attention we do not pick him at our spoit. Question is whether we love him enough to trade up for him and I suspect we do.

If he is gone, I expect us to trade down. I think we already have offers, likely for OLB. I think we take Gurley if we trade down most likely with Atlanta and maybe get a third.

Giants would be better served to stay at 9 and draft either Strong or DGB.  They would be better compliments to OBJ in my humble opinion.

I dislike the Giants but I would love to see Cooper or DGB paired with Beckham Jr either combo would be insane to watch.

Care to adjust for Ray's lunacy?  Move Beasley to Washington? Also does Gregory stay so high (no pun intended) at #12?
