Dansby suggests Headsetgate

After Fumblegate we might have Headsetgate now. Brought to you by Browns Linebacker Karlos Dansby...

"My headset was working fine, every game,” Dansby said. “Until the very last game of the year. We get in Foxboro, they couldn’t get my headset fixed, for nothing in the world. I didn’t have not one problem until I went into Foxboro. You can ask anybody on that team that year. We didn’t have no problems with my headset until I got to Foxboro. And, man, I tell you every time I came to the sidelines, taking my helmet off trying to fix it. They was trying to fix it, they couldn’t get it fixed. So we had to give hand signals, and we were dead in the water. They ran when they wanted to run, they threw it when they wanted to throw.”

So I asked if it was accident or something deliberate? “C’mon, man. C’mon,” Dansby said. “It’s not a secret. They gotta do what they gotta do to win, man. They gonna do what they gotta do to win. It’s just how they operate.”

The Patriots attorney's are working on the justification of this incident as we speak. They are just looking for the right Nobel Laureate.

Surely there's someone that works right alongside Roderick MacKinnon who could provide a Pats*-friendly answer.

It's a shame that none of these jerk off's came out during the investigation. The Pats are cheaters and I think most of the league already know this. There must be a reason why people chose not to be the one to out them like Mangini did in Spygate.

I was curious what he was up to recently since last I remembered he was a positional coach after a brief stint with TV.

Eric mangini On January 22, 2015,  was again promoted to be the defensive coordinator of the 49ers.

The mangenius is back ascending the ranks. Who knows what kind of ride Tomsula is in for this year, but you know Mangini is working in the background to usurp him this season :P

This is the real danger for the Pats EVERYONE is not lying!!! There is something seriously wrong with the Pats and their organization.

And the longer they act like they can bully the league the more folks are going to dime them out. Of course the ever compliment and obsequious media will carry the corporate lie.

But the fans and yes even the players can see that this is a rigged game.

Whenever the Pats are down late at Foxboro the clock operator always has a slow trigger finger...this crap has been going on forever up there. Even during our playoff game in 2010 when the Pats were trying to come back the clock was all out of whack.

More and more of this kind of stuff is going to  keep emerging and when former Pats player(s) start spilling the beans then the whole thing falls apart for the Cheats. MIT is right up there and there are a lot of tech savvy nerds who are Pats fans perfectly willing to do whatever it takes to not allow what happened with their beloved Red Sawx to happen to the Pats.

This is nothing new. They've been complaining about this sh*t for years in NE. I remember during SpyGate this was a big point of discussion with them. I think the Martz and the Lions were ones who were at the forefront of the claim.

the most troubling one for me has always been "mysterious extra frequency" that I believe casserly brought up during spygate.

Part of it is the joke of organization the NFL has. On field officials are part time employees. Chain crews are local guys, I imagine so are the clock operators. The NFL need to step it up and hire professional crews from ball boys to chain gangs to the head ref.

I also propose a red light similar to an NBA shot clock when the play clock is at zero. We all know damn well they count 0 as another second...or 2. Its like, not a real measure of time, guys.

There was a backup QB that said he accidently swapped helmets with Brady and the coaches were talking to him during the play. Yeah, that's illegal.

But in these cases the game should be suspended if one side's headset isnt working. That's an absurd advantage for the home team.

That's what I thought the rules were. Both sides must stop using them if one side fails.

Doug Flutie. Pretty much an urban myth and not clear what was Brady was wearing on his head while this was supposedly going on, but the Pats have certainly opened themselves up to these kinds of accusations.

via web search...

The possibility (unsubstantiated, but heavily rumored and traced to individuals close to the Patriot organization, including Doug Flutie) that the Patriots were communicating on another frequency (unavailable to the NFL) was key to the concealment of their scheme for stealing the other teams defensive signals AND communicating them to their QB. The conspiracy of silence around this allegation, after it was reported several times (including Chris Mortensen of ESPN) raises suspicion that the NFL was covering up what was really happening. The NFL, by controlling the frequencies, was in a perfect position to substantiate and follow up on this potential violation of NFL rules in many games, yet it seems as if the Patriots use of their own frequency was dismissed as a technical snafu or misunderstanding. Also note that the NFL’s radio frequency was supposedly disabled 15 seconds prior to the the start of each play to prevent last second communications. Who knows if one of the reasons the Pats tampered with frequencies was to circumvent this limitation. After all, if defensive signals were intercepted, those last 15 seconds would be critical in order to react and complete the communications back to the QB.

Oh yeah, and why hasn’t their been any public comment on Dan LaBatard’s (Miami Herald) allegation that Doug Flutie expressed surprised to a number of friends that the radio transmissions to Brady with defensive sets and data continued on his own headset right up to the time the ball was snapped?

They lost this game by 40 points to a Matt Cassel team.

Yeah, it was Tom Brady in the bushes jamming their headsets. You people are hilarious.

The Pats have lost first round picks twice for cheating. These things always come in 3's. We are just trying to find it.

What? I can't hear you from behind this wall of Lombardi trophies, from atop this mountain of greatness. You'll have to speak up.

Please post a picture of your Super Bowl ring. That is really cool that they keep the trophies at your house. I am jealous.

'We may have cheated but we won by so much who cares'?

You guys are morally bankrupt.
