I'm positive that this thread will stagnate around 3 pages, whereas the negative version will be going strong at 25 by the end of training camp.

I actually believe we're going to end up in the top 16 teams offensively at the end of the year. Anyone remember when the last time that was?

1. geno Smith- when you been so bad, there is only one way you can go. up.

2. softer schedule

3. Running game that been up there.

4. On paper the cb position has been improved a lot from last year.( even the worst situation can't see that group worse than 2014 version)

5. h-back Amaro - not asking him to block maybe improves his concentration on passing plays.

6. jets history of success with first year coaches.

Even Cimini is positive about the team this year.

No matter what happens Mac at least doesn't make you say WTF was he thinking.

If the game doesn't slow way down for Geno we have a very good backup who can help us win a lot of games.

People underestimate Harvard. He's a top 16 QB. Right about average, and even better playing tied or with the lead.

He hasn't had the lead a lot in his career, but this defense should win him a lot of games.

Here's one: Having training camp at Florham Park (a world class facility) might help prevent the injury bug this year.  Lord knows there's bad juju up at Cortland after last season.

also, the biggest positive differences vs. last season are:

-We now have a proven red zone target in Marshall.

-Plenty of depth on the o-line.

-Plenty of depth on the entire defense.

-A head coach who will enforce a greater culture of accountability

-Revis.  When you're best player is also you're hardest worker, it makes everyone else play a little better.

This Jets team is going to compete hard for the division... but probably end up settling for a wild card birth at 10-6.

It's going to be a great year to be a Jets fan. It'll be awesome to be proud of our team for the first time since the 2010 season.
