Fitzpatrick ranked 3rd best Back-Up QB. Wonder what Geno would be Ranked?

what exactly is the difference having the 32 ranked Qb and the 33 ranked Qb( top backup Qb). Are either changing the teams fortune by starting either one of them. .

I'm thinking the top backups would probably rank ahead some of the bottom of the barrel starters. I don't think Fitz would replace Geno at #32 on the starter's list if he were to replace Geno in the starting lineup. He'd probably be low 20's.

Not that I care about summer football word counts and click-bait, either.

Geno hating is fun, apparently, but the way that list is put together, it's hard to imagine Geno falling out of the top five backups in the league. He and Fitz are roughly on the same level, with Fitz pretty much already fulfilling his potential, while Geno's potential is still potentially untapped.

Fitzpatrick had his best days in Gailey's offense.  I think he could be a better starter than Geno in this system.

Maybe he is but let's give Geno a shot. Besides Fitz can't survive a full season as a starter anyway.
