yeah but belichick should get credit for finding guys like gronk, edelman, welker, hernandez, lafell - some of those guys were nobodies - and bringing in guys like Moss when people thought he was finished.

All players that BRADY made better, not Belichick.

Moss was 30 when the Pats picked him up, Nobody thought he was finished.

Normally a point has to be made before it can be missed.

So saying if Wilson throws the ball a foot in front of his WR its a TD and a totally different conversation somehow got past you? You can't get a simple point like that? Really, you're going to argue that no point was made?

What's amazing is he didn't bring in a far more extensive list of busts. Just incredible.

No, if that was your point, the point was made, and I thought it was mind-numbingly stupid.  That was the "point" of my posts #24 and 28.  Your reponses to those posts suggested that you were trying to make a different point.  I understand now that you were not.

Gronk and Hernandez were the best 2 TEs in their class, and were only available as late as they were because of Gronk's injury history and Hernandez's off-field concerns. You're wrong.

Welker emerged in Miami. The Patriots traded a 2nd rounder and then some to get him. You don't trade 2nd rounders for nobodies. You're wrong again.

Lafell is the same player in NE that he was in Carolina, but with a better QB. Not a nobody and not someone that was turned into a stud either. You're trending on wrong.

Edelman was in fact a nobody that was developed by the Pats. Congrats, you nailed it on this one!

Moss done? The wrongness is strong in this one... so Edelman was a fluke.

It hurts as a Jet fan to read the article, but it's true, and that last Jet-Patriot game mentioned is exactly what I had been thinking. Geno outplayed Brady, Rex had frustrated Brady again with a brilliant defensive plan, and our D played great, yet we lost because of two Geno mistakes late in the game, namely, an underthrow to Amaro, and later when he backpeddled out of field goal position, our FG attempt was blocked, and we lost again. The point is -  we outplayed them, yet we lost. This happens a lot with New England.  It's a matter of being clutch, which we aren't.

His bad year? The team was 2-14 the QB's were Andrew Walter,Marquis Tuiasosopo and Aaron Brooks who had a combined 9 tds and 25 picks but it's Moss's fault for a bad year??

he skipped practices to go fishing, people thought he was done.

So somehow punt return average is based on intelligence, but Yards per offensive play is dumb luck.

fumbles are obviously based on the intelligence of the HC as well as field goal percentage.

When the Pats lost to the Jets while out gaining us (Which has happened) you just know that this guy said Rex was smarter than Bellichick.

What about the Giant SBs. Eli really outsmarted Brady in those games.

Was it smart of Brady, and Bellichick to "accidently" drop his cellphone in the toilet.
