While I miss paper tickets and cannot stand these stupid cards I was VERY impressed with this years gift.  A spatula with a bottle opener on it and a Jets beer koozie were a major upgrade over a scarf or winter hat.

i agree, great gift for my first year with my own season tickets

I'm glad they are things we can actually use.  I guess they are realizing tailgating is king and gave us things to use for tailgating.

Then I'm hoping they send me rubber gloves and a can of urine disinfectant.

Woody takes such good care of you guys

It's just another disconnect with the PSL owners, no different than the radio commercials with the "dems Jets is gonna be good dis year" campaign.  He's really got to sh-t can that marketing department.

LIcense plate frames for our BMW's?  LOL.  Polyester scarves for our Bottega jackets?  Ha ha ha.  Lanyards against our Brioni shirts?  LOL..  The only gift the PSL owners ever got of any value are the baseball caps that say "Season Ticket Holder" on them along with our section number, gives us a tiny bit of status for all to see.  The rest is just about the worst crap any marketing team ever dumped on it's fans, it's just as bad as the rewards program and the in-game entertainment.

The Jets think we're stupid.  They think we're Vinny From Staten Island.  They don't realize who is actually paying the bills.  Someday, they will.

SO what is your expert view on the rewards program?  Think it should be merged for all the season tix you have for more buying power?

You're trying to hard.  We prefer to let these things develop organically.

I don't think any of this stuff is an incentive for any fan, is bush league, is counter to their intent, and should be stopped immediately.

If the average Jets season ticket holder is spending $5,000 a year to see the games, giving them a $3 corporate gift with the tickets each July and the longshot opportunity to win a $5 autographed photo with points each February is not only useless, it's disingenuous.

If the Mets or Yankees can give fans spending $50 to attend a single game a bobblehead or a baseball bat, the Jets should be giving season ticket holders either something of true value or just stop the practice entirely.  The season ticket holder hats were cool because they were personalized and they were something you truly need each year, the old ones wear out.  The clear stadium totes were cool but they were masking a security motive and actually made things less convenient for fans.

The rewards is a complete joke and an insult.  I had over 300k in points if I added all the seats I have, but since it was points per seat for bidding and auction, it was worthless unless I wanted a Matt Simms signed pic.  Plus tracking the cards is a PITA.

Did not get anything yet myself.  Is it a piece of crap or will it withstand flipping 100's of the Lenny burgers and opening 100's of beers?

To be honest I didn't look super close but it looked to be decent.  Should handle the burgers no problem.  I have a Jets Tailgater bottle opener as a trailer hitch cover on my SUV so I direct everyone there to open their beer bottles when they ask for one so I don't get disturbed while grilling.  It is definitely an upgrade over the winter hat and scarf and they threw in a beer koozie so I'm impressed.

46 days until the first tailgate, but who's counting.  The flags were on the Jets 2014 NFL Network show that aired last week.

Ouch!  There has to be at least 10,000 Vinnies on Staten Island that you just insulted.  Talk like that will get you moved from sitting in the front seat of your BMW to face down in the trunk.

SAR the Chosen 1 is right about one thing.

Jets should take better care of season ticket holders imho. When you purchase stuff in bulk, piece price drops significantly. If Jets marketing folks use their brains, they will realize they can make a lot of STH holders happy by spending only 25 bucks or so per seat.

The Jets will run off 10 SBs in a row before that happens.

I know. And this is the sad thing. SAR being one of the people who pay thousands to a team for the crap they put in front of them for the last 40 odd years, they have to be more creative to please the idiots(STH's) who still pay them for season tix.

The Jets could take some notes from the NJ Devils.   I have been invited several times to networking events in the platinum club complete with complimentary food and adult beverages, have had several invites to skate on the ice and take shots at the net and have pictures taken on the bench and at the net, met with players when I picked up my STs in person, received several comp tickets right on the ice and once last year was given a suite complete with food and adult beverages.  But again the Jets will run off 10 SBs before that happens.

See, this is wonderful. Why can't Jets do the same? SAR is right to cry if you ask me....

The Knicks are coming around slower but not as quick as the Devils.

They had a Q&A with Phil Jackson and Steve Mills in the theatre at MSG about 3 months ago where all STHs were invited.

Then about 2 months ago they had 2 events at restaurants in Manhattan for the first 100 who RSVPed.  Complimentary food and adult beverages.

And at both venues there were 3 players floating around chatting and snapping photos with everyone.  I met Langston Galloway, Lance Thomas and Ricky Ledo (just waived).

Galloway is a great guy, St. Joe's graduate that you have to root for.  Spent quite a bit of time talking to him.

He even took the time to speak to my son by phone when my wife asked him - was happy to do it.

It's things like this that motivate you more to partner up and support your team.

The Jets need to get on board with stuff like this.

Thanks for sharing your experiences with Devils and Knicks. I hope idiots from Jets Marketing Department are reading this. In the end, there is probably 20k or 30K STH's for Jets. If they spend 30 bucks on each, the most they will spend is less than a 1 million bucks. Peanut money if you ask me.

Jets are stupid. Top to bottom. SAR the chosen 1 is right on this one.

I don't believe I've gotten anything from the Rewards program yet.  I went to the portal a few times last year but nothing ever caught my eye.  Got the note about points expiring and looked and nothing I wanted was within my reach, so I spent all my points bidding for a London trip (which would be awesome, though I've had to travel a lot for work this past year, and time away from family is sort of a precious commodity I have to manage.  And because of that I would ideally not go to that game).

So I probably will wind up getting nothing out of last year's program since I surely won't win.

Hope something better is there this year.  I will say I like what the Jets are going with things like Draft Night, Movie night, these small interview things with coach and GM, etc.  Hope they do more and more of that.

Regarding rewards, I know I've said this 1000 times but just give me a free beer or pretzel or whatever once or twice a year and I'll be happy.  Current system still seems too complex.
