On opening day of Jets training camp in Florham Park on Wednesday, Revis refused to comment on the situation involving his mother, who was not allowed to attend the Patriots ring ceremony in June. Revis did confirm, however, that he has the ring in his possession — “a lot of bling,” he said — and won’t ever bring it to the Jets facility. One of a number of new pieces the Jets brought in over the offseason, Revis will help bolster a secondary that ranked 14th in the passing defense last year. But improving on the team’s 4-12 record from 2014 won’t be easy, Revis said, especially playing in a revamped AFC East. “I feel like this would be the toughest division in the NFL,” Revis said. “Just how all the pieces have moved: me being back here, Rex (Ryan) going to Buffalo, you have (Mike) Tannenbaum down in Miami. It’s a lot of moving pieces.” Revis was also pressed about his former teammate Tom Brady, after commissioner Roger Goodell and the NFL upheld the quarterback’s four-game suspension for the DeflateGate scandal on Tuesday. “It’s the biggest story in sports today. It’s everywhere,” said Revis, who wouldn’t comment on if he believes Brady. “The league, they did what they had to do.
