shawn306
Yup 2014 is officially behind us now. If either Geno or Fitz steps up this could be a playoff team. I would not discount Buffalo in any way. They are basically in the same boat that we are. Alot of talent but someone has to step up at QB. Miami could be very good as well. AFC East could be the most interesting division in the entire NFL this year. How will the Pats do with Brady gone for 4 games ? If he gets the injunction how will the Pats handle knowing that he could be gone later in the season if the suspension is still upheld ? Can Rex get the Bills to the post season ? The Bills are a team that has not seen the post season since the Music City Miracle, nearly 16 years ago. Very good defense, Weapons on offense. What does he do with Manuel or Cassel at QB. If the Bills get to the post season will be looked at as a savior. The Jets are in the same boat as Buffalo. Improved WR corp, maybe one of the best defenses in the league, and a coach who hopefully will hold the players accountable. Can Miami get even more from the QB this year and what impact will Suh have on their defense.
Joe W. Namath
Chad Pennington was a sh!tty QB Now you're being ridiculous. The pats will win a minimum of 12 games and win the division. Thats not debatable. The jets can get to 7 or 9 wins but do not have the qb play to be competitive with the big boys. Should still be a fun season though. Two blowout wins for the Jets and a last place finish. Their HC doesn't know anything about football, phins have a much better QB which means Jets and Miami battle it out for second place/WC. Just glad the season is finally here....can't wait to get up to camp next week.

I wouldn't be surprised if they win the division.

AFJF
Pats still have holes in the secondary along with other issues- this division should be very competitive- among the 4 teams Without the video cameras the Pats struggled to win a SB with suspect secondaries, but still won the division regularly. On paper they should be a 9-10 win team with that secondary, but I always say pencil 'em in for 12-13 wins no matter what.

House Jet
In terms of our schedule, had a really tough first half last year. With the improvements to our roster and the less than menacing schedule we have this year Im very optimistic about our Jets this season. We could realistically jump to 10 wins or more. Fingers crossed that Bowles is what he seems and that Geno doesnt completely ruin the year for us.

Brady had a 10-6 season in 2009 most likely due to Brady not playing at all except for part of game 1 2008.. His first game this year will be the Colts at night and then the Jets you think he will be in regular game shape after 1 game?? I guess your also assuming his back up will go 3-1 or 4-0 in the games he's out??

ghost_in_pads02
Not sure what this has to do with my statement. It was really the camera statement. Since spygate they went to 3 superbowls only losing 2 by 3 points how is that a struggle? The rest of my post was just me posting in general I said they struggled to win super bowls without cameras and great secondary. I didn't say they weren't one of the better teams in the NFL because they were, they just weren't the best until they brought in Revis. Ok. And i dont think it was a "struggle". Their losses had nothing to do with cameras(none of thier SB wins or losses ever did) Even without a great secondary. It came down to the giants needing to make a play and they did. Samuel was in position to pick off Eli and didnt. Harrison was in position to knock the ball down n didnt. As well as the dline to sack Eli, and didnt. Welker was in position to catch a pass to seal the game and didn't. Not a matter of talent just making a play. You're just trying to be slick with the wording. i see what you were trying to do with the "camera" statement. Not here to make this thread all about the pats. Plenty of threads are here for that. Season is fast approaching. So yes, its here! Carry on.

(No win or loss in their SBs had anything to do with cameras) you are just trying to be slick with your words.
