JohnnyLV
Part of the SiriusXM visit. Geno sound poised intelligent and realistic. Sounds like a franchise guy for first time. Have a listen http://www.siriusxm.com/nfl Towards bottom of page, 2 or 3 down in the audio files.

Shadetree
Cue the "start Fitz" garbage even though Geno has totally outplayed him in camp Totally outplayed is a stretch. I'm happy with both QBs early in camp and I'll let the chips fall where they may. I'm nervous about Geno when things go live, though.
carlito1171
He sounds like someone who had his share of growing pains his first 2 seasons....he also sounds like someone who learned a lil something by being baptized by fire I hope he puts it altogether for the franchise's sake. This good offseason and TC means nothing without results when it counts....

Jetster
The one thing I'll give Geno props on is that he ALWAYS put everything on himself. I think this is why he's liked by his teammates. Maybe deep down inside he knew damn well he couldn't win with the flotsam he's had to throw to. Stephen Hill...LMAO...out of the league. The skinny dude from Buffalo....out of the league. Jeff Cumberland? He sucks! The rookie TE Amaro? Gailey has him practicing with the 3rd team? When Decker got healthy Geno hooked up with him regularly. Geno didn't even have a back for dumpoffs who had good hands! Think about the catches that Vareen plucked off the ground from Brady in the Super Bowl, zero drops & 11 catches on some tough balls. How about the over the shoulder grab by Lynch on that last drive? QBs need the players around them to rise up & make some tough catches. He probably came in confident that he now only needs to get the ball near these guys to make plays. Last year Owusu was playing the #2 WR with Kerley in the slot, this year Owusu is the 4th or 5th WR. If he finally gets comfortable knowing when to run for a 1st, throw the ball out of bounds, use the snap count to get teams to jump off sides, he can become a tough QB to defend. Time will tell, but I truly believe that with some success with this influx of talent (Marshall), Owusu stepping up as 4th WR, Kerley also stepping up, Geno could really take that next step with a lift of confidence in the players around him.
