Once again diving into that pool of insults which are NOT deserved in this case. Rex Ryan brought a circus atmosphere to the Jets that will take some time to overcome. Most of the guys on this team were brought there by Rex and Todd Bowles cannot be asked to change a culture overnight. None of these NY writers, Ian O'Connor, Steve Serby, Rich Cimini and Mike Lupica EVER give the Jets the benefit of the doubt and manufacture these SOJ stories which is really a shortcut to actually working and writing a story with a modicum of rationality and evenness. Their jobs are sensational and they crave sensational stories. You know how to shut these guys up, winning some damn games, making the playoffs year in and year out.
