He's a former 1st, a NFL starter playing against 4th stringers in the 4th Q.

True, but then he is also playing WITH 4th stringers on his side of the ball, so it's even.  The announcer himself said that up to now, Manuel was considered third string, but that might change now.

Let's hope so, he looked terrible. Don't care what the numbers said.

Don't sleep on the Browns or McCown. McCown has had some amazing games in his journey through the NFL. Plus the Browns Defense is pretty damn good and last I saw we haven't addressed our scoring issues yet.

Just started watching when the Bills receivers went down. Had Tyrod been in all of the 1st?

Mccown stinks. Manziel will be the starter by week 2 or 3.

Yeah Tyrod was in all game so far, he drove them down to a missed field goal on mostly running plays.

According to ESPN peeps the browns had the worst run D in the league last year.

  1. 4-C.Spear kicks 67 yards from CLE 35 to BUF -2. 11-M.Thigpen to BUF 15 for 17 yards (17-J.Lenz).
  2. 1-10-BUF 15(14:55) 39-B.Hill right tackle to BUF 18 for 3 yards (56-K.Dansby).
  3. 2-7-BUF 18(14:22) 5-T.Taylor pass short left to 39-B.Hill to BUF 18 for no gain (99-P.Kruger; 33-J.Poyer).
  4. 3-7-BUF 18(13:51) (Shotgun) 5-T.Taylor pass short left to 80-D.Thompson to BUF 31 for 13 yards (24-J.Bademosi).
  5. 1-10-BUF 31(13:05) 5-T.Taylor pass short right to 42-J.Felton to BUF 41 for 10 yards (56-K.Dansby).
  6. 1-10-BUF 41(12:25) 44O-R.Seale right guard to BUF 47 for 6 yards (33-J.Poyer; 99-P.Kruger). BUF # 71 (Kouandjio) reports as an eligible receiver.
  7. 2-4-BUF 47(11:44) 44O-R.Seale left tackle to BUF 43 for -4 yards (94-R.Starks).
  8. 3-8-BUF 43(11:03) (Shotgun) 5-T.Taylor pass short middle to 85-C.Clay to CLE 46 for 11 yards (31-D.Whitner).
  9. 1-10-CLE 46(10:28) 5-T.Taylor scrambles right end to CLE 43 for 3 yards (99-P.Kruger).
  10. 2-7-CLE 43(9:49) 44O-R.Seale right guard to CLE 40 for 3 yards (92-D.Bryant).
  11. 3-4-CLE 40(9:07) (Shotgun) 5-T.Taylor pass short right to 88-M.Goodwin to CLE 35 for 5 yards (22-T.Williams).
  12. 1-10-CLE 35(8:37) 44O-R.Seale right guard to CLE 33 for 2 yards (53-C.Robertson). BUF # 71 (Kouandjio) reports as an eligible receiver.
  13. 2-8-CLE 33(8:02) (Shotgun) 5-T.Taylor scrambles left tackle to CLE 23 for 10 yards (54-S.Solomon).
  14. 1-10-CLE 23(7:22) 39-B.Hill right guard to CLE 21 for 2 yards (53-C.Robertson).
  15. 2-8-CLE 21(6:46) 39-B.Hill right tackle to CLE 19 for 2 yards (56-K.Dansby).
  16. 3-6-CLE 19(6:10) (Shotgun) 5-T.Taylor sacked at CLE 28 for -9 yards (99-P.Kruger).
  17. 4-15-CLE 28(5:28) (Field Goal formation) 2-D.Carpenter 46 yard field goal is No Good, Hit Right Upright, Center-65-G.Sanborn, Holder-6-C.Schmid

The whole 14 yards on 7 running plays most have been a huge advantage.

Taylor played pretty well last night.  He was down his top 3 WR, and 5 RB's, and was playing against the ones in a game where the opposing coach was probably trying prove something.  However, one preseason game doesn't tell much of a story.
