There is a humongous difference between traded up and spending a high first on a QB and trading a (likely) low pick on one who's been developed by a good offensive coach and has looked good this off season/preseason. But an upside to Geno being out is there should be a chance for Petty to get more work. Starters play what, 3 quarters next week? Only so many 5yd routes they need to practice with Fitz at QB. He didn't spot the markers, he should have instructed Kerley? to block and pick up a few. But something like that will come in time when the game slows down even more.
