You wonder how many of these injuries would stop a player from practice/play during the regular season.  hard to get a feel for it.

Maudlin doenst take me as the type of player looking for rest.  Every time he speaks, it's all about getting better, getting more reps, learning the systems and the intricacies of the position, etc.  A vet like Pace...yeah, that's a different story.  I personally would be 100% fine with shutting down the starters.  I get needing some reps...but the guys you know can play, really dont need the reps that much.
