Popular Post joebabyny
Hey guys, just a heads up for those thinking of heading to Metlife for the Skins game, I am going to be raising a few bucks for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. They are one of the best run charities around with over 90% of the funds raised going directly to breast cancer research. EVERY DOLLAR RAISED WILL BE DOCUMENTED FROM COLLECTION TO DISBURSEMENT TO THE CHARITY FOUNDATION. I get asked to donate to all kinds of things, and I see plenty of charity fundraisers pop up, but in almost every instance you never really know how much was donated and if it really all went where it was supposed to go. I am raising money by donating a portion of every tailgate registration directly to the foundation. This will be totally transparent as the site I use to sign up attendees shows how many are signed up and I am going to be sending the donations throughout the signup process directly to the foundation which can be monitored through our fundraising team page. I have already sent them $1,000. I have: 100 tailgate passes at $50 which includes a $10 donation to the charity 100 tailgate passes at $55 which includes a $15 donation to the charity 100 tailgate passes at $60 which includes a $20 donation to the charity If you want to join us you can sign up at: http://www.tailgatejoe.com/new-york-jets-tailgate-party-redskin-2015/ Feel free to donate directly to the foundation through our team page at: https://give.bcrfcure.org/fundraise?fcid=516545 As a lot of you know, as a cancer survivor myself, the struggle those fight against across the spectrum of cancers is something I deeply care about. I don't like bugging anyone to donate, but I think this is a fun way for people to painlessly do some good. If anyone has any questions feel free to shoot me a pm or email me. Also, when you see me post this on my facebook/twitter tomorrow, please forward it on and share with your friends. Thanks!

JustInFudge
Good stuff Joe. Really awesome you're doing this. Quick question; is your tailgate combined with JN's tailgate or is it a separate thing? I'm going to be at the Redskins game and since I practically drool on my PC looking at your food, I was hoping to come check you out. Some of the members here, like Duane, park right next to me and do their own tailgate, and some, like Max, just let me handle all the cooking. So it is the best of both, if you want to cook your own food or you want to just show up and let me handle it all you can do either. All goes down at lot E10.

Really looking forward to this. My chick also got us tickets to some big wine/food festival that takes place all over the city that week and we're going to the event Joe Namath is sponsoring. Going to be a great weekend, hopefully ending in a killer tailgate and a Jets victory!!!

I've never been to the Namath one, but I believe it's a Mario Batali event, so you can't go wrong. My wife and I are going to the Blue Moon Burger Bash this year and did a Taco one hosted by Bobby Flay a couple years back. Should be fun.

He's gotta put that on ice for at least a decade. Got a while to go before that becomes an ironically nostalgic shirt.

ZachEY
Nice! I'm looking forward to that weekend...you going to the game? As of now, no. But, I rarely know these things more than a week out. As of now, it's my first weekend in a while where I don't have a ton going on, so I may just relax. But, I'll let you know if that changes. @joebabyny ... Are you by any chance doing Houston this year?

It is my birthday and i may just want to spend it getting into trouble.

Maxman
It is scary to think that the Jets can end Sunday at 4 and 1. I can't wait, going to get there early. Wish I could start tailgating now.
