Rex Ryan thread, week 4 edition

Bruce Harper

There's one Bills player that couldn't go because he didn't have a passport.  The fact that Harvin still may play is an indication that it may be Harvin without the passport and something is being done to get it so he can still make the game.  Who really knows though.  They are not talking about it.

Didn't he sit out the last two weeks with a mysterious injury?

Want to understand-the Bills had a schedule for at least 6 months that included a game in London. For players to go there, they needed passports. If you apply on a rush basis, takes about a month. And yet somehow an NFL team was so bereft of organization and lacked attention to detail that they failed to so advise and insist every player take steps to get it,or get them to do so with the help of some front office  personnel or even the NFL. Simply an amazing level of incompetence.

Then why didnt they just say Harvin had passport issues instead of the mysterious personal issues that were bound to get the rumors started?

They knew about this game a long time ago, hard to believe a guy who was on this roster before the season started doest have a passport.  More like a player picked up in the last month who you would think had trouble getting one in time to travel

Just saw this

by Adam Schefter/ESPN   Percy Harvin increasingly frustrated w/ hip + knee injuries expected to sideline him indefinitely, per sources. Not considering retirement.

Here's another article about Percy Harvin.  Looks like he's retiring

So the $7 million dollar TE has an arthritic knee.

Harvin is in semi-retirement.

Sammy Watkins can't stay on the field and is still complaining about targets.

The star DE hates the scheme he's playing in.

The stud DT wants Suh money next year.

The coaching staff took the coach's hand-picked young QB and decided to sideswipe him with a QB controversy in Week Five.

The stud RB looks finished.

Other than that, how's it going in Bufftown?

Yes but how is the defense ranked in run-stopping?

We should be okay for Sunday.  Personally,  I am glad we are sitting these players.  Let them rest until after the bye week and come back healthy.

You can't take any team in this league for granted.  A loss to the lowly Jags will blow the top off the Buffalo crock pot.

You are right about not taking any team in the league for granted.  That being said,  I still think we have a good chance of winning on Sunday.   As a Bills' fan,  I surely hope we win.
