Jetsfan80
This is pretty much amazing. http://www.wect.com/story/30385358/rolls-royce-and-first-class-tickets-a-look-inside-t-pains-contract-with-uncw Rolls Royce and first-class tickets: A look inside T-Pain's contract with UNCW WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - T-Pain will perform to a sold out crowd at UNCW's Kenan Auditorium Thursday night. According to UNCW, this is the first sold out show for the university in three years. We are busily preparing for our first SOLD OUT show in 3 years! Get pumped Seahawks, @TPAIN will be here less than 7 hours #UNCW — ACE @ UNCW (@uncwace) October 29, 2015 When celebrities perform, they are known to make some outlandish requests in their contracts. We took a look at T-Pain's $40,000 agreement with UNCW and found a few requests worth sharing. T-Pain is a Grammy award-winning artist, so you might expect the rapper to be a high roller. Well, he requested that a Phantom or Maybach be his ground transportation during his stay in Wilmington. If you don't know, a Maybach is a $200,000 Mercedes and a Phantom is a $400,000 Rolls Royce. Sorry, T-Pain. This is a university event. He was denied the transportation request and will instead be traveling in style with the Campus Life Van. UNCW laid down the gauntlet on some other high-dollar requests made in his contract too. The university denied T-Pain's request for a first-class plane ticket, along with airfare for his 14-member crew. They also said no to the request for a dozen rooms in a 5-star hotel with 24-hour room service and, get this, the Cartoon Network. "I'mma buy you a drank"...but not at UNCW. The university nixed T-Pain's request for three bottles of Coconut Ciroc, three bottles of Hennessy Cognac, and a case of Bud Light Platinum. They also denied a request for cash per-diems for all of T-Pain's crew. The rest of the rapper's requests were fairly mundane and even modest when it came to the meal request for fried chicken, mashed potatoes, salad and dessert as an acceptable dinner menu leading up to his performance at 9 p.m. He had some pretty specific requests for his dressing room such as two dozen new, black hand towels and two cases of premium spring water (not Evian). T-Pain didn't specify, however, what brand of water he wanted on stage - just that it be put on ice. He may not be getting his Cartoon Network, but T-Pain is ready to Feel the Teal. Not exactly sure what #FeelTheTeal means but I'm ready to find out. Brace yourselves #UNCW ?? https://t.co/tbqmWIt1ZO — T-Pain (@TPAIN) October 28, 2015 About half of the $40,000 performance will be covered by ticket sales, while the rest comes out of the Association for Campus Entertainment budget which is through student fees. Also, this, at the top of the article: Rolls Royce and first-class tickets: A look inside T-Pain's contract with UNCW WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - We had Nelly perform here earlier in the year. Both performers insanely popular for young and stupid white people.

kelticwizard
Considering how much stuff they have to transport for a show, I wonder how much they make from that $40,000.
