Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick left Sunday's game against Oakland after suffering a hand injury just six plays in. Geno Smith, he of the preseason broken jaw, stepped in for his first action, and, well ... the results were not exactly encouraging. During the first half, Smith was six of 10 for 61 yards and one touchdown. That apparently was not enough to calm Jets management's fears. Per Pro Football Talk, the Jets have already begun making inquiries about possible quarterbacks. Ryan Mallett, former Texans QB, would be the obvious choice, though the Jets might want to tell him the game starts the day before it really does. Geno is not why we are losing today - Defense was ******* horrendous, as they were in pre-season and everytime we have faced a half decent QB. Overrated unit with lucky fumbles early on. McCown and Gore don't fumble those easy turnovers, record might look a bit different. Can't win when your D gives up 34 points in a little over three quarters. But still, Geno is garbage.
