So when the Broncos intentionally circumvented the salary cap, allowing them to win 2 Super Bowl titles, that was not cheating?

There is no way in hell the Broncos win 2 Super Bowls without John Elway and Terrell Davis.

That was the biggest cheating scandal in the history of the NFL.

Really? The biggest cheating scandal in the history of the NFL?

Good to know you're still a buffoon on any board you post on.

I feel a lot of empathy for these poor souls trying to live with a * for the rest of their days. If trolling here makes their lives better, gives it meaning then by all means they should post away. I can't imagine what a horror it must be to wake up everyday, deep down inside their embarrassed. Embarrassed for their team, their city, and by extension themselves for staying loyal to the *. These guys are just crying out for relief. Welcome brothers!! Welcome to the sea of green, where I'd rather lose with dignity than be an *. That said, last week was a F'ing embarrassment. I am still pissed at that total lack of effort!!!!! Nothing worse than lazy talent.

Is there any other franchise that has been cited twice for cheating? Any other than has the NFL monitoring the radio headset frequencies  to make sure they aren't listening to the other team's communications? Interrogating their staffers? Sweeping their stadium for bugs?

The NFL controls headsets except for batteries. Maybe the Steelers had weak batteries?

Quite frankly, Im very surprised that Rex didn't think of the bug sweep scheme first. Bowles really one upped old Rexy on that one.

Sure he did.  The promises from Kraft had nothing to do with his leaving.

What promises?

NE has phone records of Parcells to the Jets from the team hotel in New Orleans super bowl week. Parcells was still under contract. Cheating and stealing right there. Then, Parcells tried to pretend that he wasn't actually working for NY Jets but only a part time consultant.

Imagine if Goodell was around when the Jets tampered with NE HC Parcells during the Super Bowl?

Nothing.  He did nothing to his former employers when Johnson tampered.  Why would he do anything to Hess?

Jets hired Parcells to be their consultant, too smart for the Pats.  And their fans apparently who now say the Jets made up the story after the fact.  Parcells was the consultant and Bellichick was to coach the Jets from day one because the Jets knew he couldnt coach given he was still the Pats HC.  But this is about Parcells wanting no part of the Pats and wanting to leave, not the Jets.  No tampering was found.  You can bring up phone calls all you want.  Jets paid off the Pats who then allowed Parcells to coach the Jets.

Pats, on the other hand were found guilty of tampering with Belli.  They were fined, had to give up picks and cash while Belli had to pay Hess back for reasons of tampering.

Kraft gave Belichick the keys to the kingdom, gave him power that he was afraid he wouldn't get with the Jets, was worried Parcells would stick around and was afraid of having Parcells the HC still in the building.  Do you not know your teams history or where you still a Giants fan back then

They have no phone records, if they did the Jets would have been found guilty, like the Pats were just 3 years later.  Making phone calls BTW isn't tampering.  Coaches call other coaches, GMs etc all the time.

Sounds good to me.

Unlike Patriot fans, I have no problem celebrating the Jets getting away with "cheating" to lure in a coach. It's nowhere near the same scale as in-game cheating, which the Patriots have been caught doing time and again. It's actually pretty pathetic that in the scramble to prove "your team cheats too" the Pats fans have resorted to "tampering" as something equivalent to building an archive of stolen video signals and procuring an advantage in the turnover battle by deflating balls.

With logic like this, you'd equate rape with loitering.

Really?  Please provide a link.  It was a trade.  the Patriots were never fined.

Did Johnson tamper with Revis?  Yes.

Did Hess' people contact Par$ells?  Yes.

Did Belichick know he could become HC/GM of NE?  Yes.

Who cares though.  It is stupid to think that a player, coach or GM have blinders on to future opportunities.

You ex Giants fans need to play catch up if youre going to jump into the argument.  They were guilty of tampering, had to send the Jets money and picks.  Its why we had 4 1sts in the draft.

Trade?  Is that what Patriot Nation has been spoon fed?

Were the Jets found guilty of tampering in regards to Parcells and fined?  No.

Who cares?  The dimwitted Patriot fan who thought the Jets were guilty with regards to Parcells and tried to have it offset Spygate or some other Patriot cheating issue.  Problem for his lame case was the Jets werent guilty and three years later the Pats were

Oh, and Revis, the entire NFL knows the Pats tampered with him when he was leaving Tampa.  Freed up and signed immediately.  Doesnt make sense, so again, put the stupid tampering shlt to bed. Its not on field cheating like the Patriots legacy

You are not only wrong, but you are impressively wrong.

No money.  A first and the exchanged late round picks.

You might to pick up a Jets' team history book to learn your team's history.

He was made to pay Hess back, go back to Google.  No money, draft picks, makes you feel better.  Illegally hired by the Pats.   Deal with it but stop your nation brother from shooting his mouth off that the Jets tampered with Parcells and ignoring Belichick

There is a huge difference in fine and reimbursing an unfulfilled contract stipulation.

It doesn't matter if Parcells wanted to leave. He was still under a contract.

The Jets tried to weasel their way around the contract but got caught by old softie Tagliabue.

they started their cheating ways from day 1 .  Kraft can't help himself. Pats fan was too stupid to bring up tampering with a HC.  He's run from what he thought was a brilliantly ant point.  Stop already.

What in game cheating?

Can you provide facts of this happening time and time again?

The Pats had phone records. Kraft paid for the hotel that Parcells was calling from.

Tampering is calling a player or coach under contract. You wouldn't know because the Jets do this on a yearly basis.

He quit. Wasn't hired to coach the team.  Wasn't going to coach until after his Pats contract ran out.  Parcells didn't want to be in NE and they parted ways and then was hired by the Jets.  There were no fines for tampering.   Tags brokered a deal where the jets comped the whining Pats to let Parcells out of the remaining year of his Pats deal.

Move on already, that no Pats troll knows what happened is telling though
