The comment attached to the photo in the article 'Sammy Watkins got the better of his matchup with Darelle Revis on Thursday' They talked in detail about the great game ending way Watkins killed Revis to ensure victory. Watkins stat line: 3 catches - 16 yards with a long of 6 yards. And as usual with his boot licking ways his headline for the sub article about the pats was 'Finally the Patriots had time enough.' Like a lot of 'journalism' these days it is slanted and a joke. Not mentioning the final stat line or giving Revis any real credit when he in effect shut watkins down as well as any #1 WR he has come up against over the years. You're missing the entire point of the article. With the game on the line, a $16MM CB failed to make a play, and got embarrassed doing so. Peter King was not the only one to bring this up. Obviously, man-to-man coverage is his strength. However, BB is not going to design/implement a defense around the strength of one player. He is not that dumb. Not that Revis needs any motivation but I don't mind seeing these articles because I hope it gets Revis even more psyched to shut someone down on Sundays. Lets line them up. I know what the point of the article was, Watkins caught a 6 yard pass for a 1st down. And who cares about the stats? Are you serious in saying holding a #1 Wr to 3 catches for 16 yards is irrelevant to an article that indicates by its tone and lack of info that Watckins owned revis that game? Not that play, that game? Saying that the NFL said the same thing is no consolation as they are even worse than King if that is possible for being dumbasses. And last of all, can you for once not act like a king like moron on a topic like this? Your opinion on the topic would be 100% reversed if this was last year with Revis on the Pats.
