Jettington
If Vikings lose, I'm hoping it is Vikings Packers, winner takes division title, if Vikings lose there is a chance they miss the playoffs entirely (though crazy things need to happen, ATL win, SEA loss, and three other things I believe). I don't like it when the Jets play in primetime, it seems our record of late has been abysmal in such games.

Lost to Buffalo on TNF
Ruby2
The NFL can't get enough of the Packers so I feel that game will get protected by fox and put us into the night game.

Cant protect week 17, It will 100% be Vikings, GB pretty sure they play for the division even if Vikes lose tonight. If it was the Jets they would face broadcasting a game the Jets treat as a preseason game.

But I doubt it.

Pittsburgh lays another egg and we may sit Brandon, Decker and Fitz
drdetroit
Why flex the jets game? NY market. Playoffs in the line. Rex vs old team. Nah makes too much sense

Joe W. Namath
Cant flex Jets game because it might not mean anything. Vikes/pack is the only choice.

Paradis
Why flex the jets game? NY market. Playoffs in the line. Rex vs old team. Nah makes too much sense Only thing working against the Jets now, is that IF (HUUUUGE IF) the browns beat PIT earlier in the day, then the game will have zero impact on the playoffs.... the NFL usually sides with flexing a game guaranteed to have playoff implications... Our probably does, but it's not a lock.
prime21
Jets game will get a higher than normal NY rating at their normal time. A GB vs Minny evening game will get more ratings than Jets Bills.

jgb
Packers Vikes Al Michaels just announced it on air GOOD. Last thing we need is Rex on the big stage. He will sell the soul to the Devil to win next week. Let's hope the Devil is smart and ain't buyin.
Jetsfan80
Vikings Packers means Nada because both teams make the playoffs no matter The difference between a home playoff game and a road playoff game is pretty massive, especially when you're talking Lambeau Field in January. Or, alternatively, facing Adrian Peterson in a frigid road game in Minnesota (ditching the dome was a good decision for those purposes).
Ghost
I could be wrong, but I feel like they would chose the Vikings-Packers simply because the Jets can possibly clinch a playoff spot (Pit loss) prior to the game starting. Therefore, making the game less exciting and intense as it should.
devland
Packers Vikes Al Michaels just announced it on air Like it or not Packers and to some extent Vikings and Adrian Peterson have national appeal. It is all about the ratings.
Clementi49
The NFL I'm assuming wants the drama of win and your in or lose and your out scenario. But the jets are on the road. If the jets were at home they 100 percent get flexed in my mind. The crowd in buffalo won't care that much.
