jetsfan719
Its nice to go into next season without the worry of lookin for a new gm, coach, or OFfensive coordinator for once. I think since rex was here, every year was a new song and dance with someone new. Nice change not having the drama aspect going into offseason....not that we will be headed into offseason anytime soon Heres to continuing or win stretch sunday And like rex said, "the jets are red hot right now" i honestly dont think there is one team in the AFC that will be in playoffs we can't compete with. First things first lets beat buffalo, but man i cant imagine how great a feeling it would be to make it to the pats and beat them again...not getting ahead of myself. Just so excited for Sunday. LETS GO BOYS!️️️️ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Jetdawgg
What about Bobby April? The back end of the roster has been getting beefed up and the ST play has been better. Even Quigley is punting better. April stays as he needs players to make the system work. Cumberland made a play on ST last week??

KRL
So true!!! From 2011-2014 there's always been some kind of end of yeardrama: 2011 - The MIA game exposes the dysfunction in the locker room. Ryanpromises to clean it up and get a better feel for his team. He thenthrows Schottenhemier under the bus and hires Sparano 2012 - The Sanchez/Tebow nonsense leads to a 6-10 year. Woody knowshe needs to make a change and fires Tannenbaum and hires Idzik. Ofcourse Ryan throws Sparano under the bus and hires Mornhinweg. Pettineheads for BUF to get away from the nonsense 2013 - Questions fly around whether Idzik will keep Ryan. We end up asurprising 8-8 which leads to the locker room scene where Woody retainsRyan 2014 - After a train wreck of a season the whole Idzik/Ryan nonsensecomes to an end. Thankfully Woody hired Casserly & Wolf to help him inthe search. And hopefully we'll never have to deal with this for 10+years
Jetsfan80
April deserves credit. That unit was a disaster at the halfway point in the season and was costing us games. At least they're performing capably now when we need it most. Hell even Bullock, an awful kicker for much of his career, hit a 49-yarder on Sunday, without which there is a very good chance we do not win that game. Not sure how much impact ST coaches have on kickers beyond kickoffs, but it's a positive for April as well. Scrapheap kickers don't always do this well when the incumbent starter gets hurt, especially for a cold weather, outdoor team like ours.

bostonmajet
This season is far from over why worry about next season bask in the glory this team is having this season. Force of habit; by week 15 we are used to talking about firing coaches, offseason and the draft. Finally being able to focus on football and winning in the last week has likely confused many and taken the rest of us out of our comfort zone. Too much pressure. Try and be understanding as much of the fanbase is still punch drunk from the last few years.

JohnnyLV
sarcasm is a tricky beast when you are Casey Jones of the "No" train for most of the year! Wasn't sarcasm. I think his agent is going to ask for Kapernick, Tannenhill money minimum. Pat Kirwan thinks it will cost $15M to lock him up before FA.

Bronxville Jets Fan
I'm excited to go into next season with a young QB with upside who will be likely be holding a clipboard for his second straight season. I feel like we haven't groomed a young QB in quite a while.

#27TheDominator
Rex threw Sparano under the bus? Did you think they should have kept him? He was quite possibly the single worst coordinator I can remember.
jamesr
Rex threw Sparano under the bus? Did you think they should have kept him? He was quite possibly the single worst coordinator I can remember. Given it was Rex who hired him only the year before, you could argue that he at least gave him a push, if not threw him under. If he was that bad, why did he hire him in the first place? Shared blame IMHO.
nj meadowlands
One thing I was thinking this morning... remember how years ago everyone on this board was hellbent on locking up the "core four" (Revis, Mangold, Brick, Harris). It would be kind of appropriate if those 4 guys got one last good run at it...

That fat **** should get a commission.
