32EBoozer
www.profootballtalk.com Bilal Powell misses second straight practice Posted by Josh Alper on December 31, 2015, 1:47 PM EST Getty ImagesJets running back Bilal Powell has played a big role for the team over the last month as they have put themselves in position to advance to the playoffs thanks to a five-game winning streak. It’s unclear how much he’ll be able to help them in their attempt to make it six straight in Buffalo on Sunday, however. Powell missed a second straight day of practice on Thursday because of an ankle injury he picked up against the Patriots in Week 16. Coach Todd Bowles didn’t sound overly concerned about Powell’s injury on Wednesday, saying in his press conference that the team would see how things “come along later in the week.” A second day without practice may make for more worry about a player who has scored three touchdowns and caught 25 passes over the last four weeks of the season. Running back Chris Ivory was back on the practice field as a limited participant after sitting out Wednesday because of a knee problem. Right tackle Breno Giacomini and tight end Kellen Davis were the others held out of practice by the Jets.
dbatesman
I've been trying to get a sense of how concerned we should be. This is the best I've got:
CrazyCarl40
I'd be more concerned if he missed practice tomorrow. Probably just letting him rest and heal for this weekend. He came back into the game on Sunday so no reason he shouldn't be able to play this Sunday.

He was slow as **** when he tried playing on that bad ankle earlier this year. He's been great since he's been healthy.
