About 30 years ago, I saw Bowie play the role of John Merrick (Elephant Man) on Broadway and he was utterly amazing. Wife and I went last year to see Bradley Cooper do the same role. Cooper was fabulous, but I;ll tell you... Bowie was every bit as good doing that nearly impossible role day in and day out. Bowie had a lot of untapped acting talent.
